Poaalpina Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 u also have to add this entry to the registry:[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Ext\CLSID] "{17492023-C23A-453E-A040-C7C580BBF700}"="1"better way to do it ....direct integration. Who's post were you replying to? I don't think it was mine, because I don't have to add the registry key, and you can't do direct integration if they don't provide a redistributable installation package. If you weren't replying to my post... nevermind... Direct link for WGA redistributable installation package (and integratable):http://www.download.windowsupdate.com/msdo...982dcea49a0.exe
Crusty01 Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 I would like a request for this topic:1: Could, at the beginning of this topic, be more info about the /integrate option?2: 125 Pages! Could someone clean up this topic? It is immense!
ks_visa Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 It's first time I'm here, and I come from this site:http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/I want to build an install dvd (XP), with all the upgrades and patches. I saw here links to download all this, but separated files, this means I need to download a lot of file. I want to ask before to start to download it separatly: is there any place to find them all in the same file (zip or rar)??? Sorry if is stupid question....
war59312 Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 RyanVM's Windows XP Post-SP2 Update Pack is the best place to start:http://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/updatepack.html
Djé Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 Ryan, even a french update pack can be accessed from your site!Current (1.1.4a) version of Vier's adaptation of your pack is working fine.@ks_visa: use it with Ryan's integrator V1.1 and be sure to use advanced options (read vier's instructions). It works as well with the last version of nLite.

dhoffman_98 Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 @dhoffman_98: I don't have any problem with wga direct dll copying. What's your problem ? Screenshot ?@Sonic... I never said there was a problem. I simply was asking people for other ideas about how they were doing it, or if the way I was doing it seemed to be the best solution.
Coolsights2000 Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 (edited) Thanks all for the infoI started out looking for the kb892130.exe failing to install issue on a already installed systemLOL found that fix here Just to add I did a fresh install and that issued with the register key permission doesn't happenduring a fresh install........ so the WGADiag2.exe fix is not needed during a fresh installSO just add the kb892130.exe -u -q -z -n -o to the SVCPACK.INF.. Worked for me You don't need to add any fancy reg file or tweaks ......Change the long download name to above to meet the requirements in the SVCPACK.INF(windowsxp-kb892130-enu-x86_7e1189ce89fb0c693cad6432a4c2f982dcea49a0.exe)http://www.download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/v3-19990518/cabpool/windowsxp-kb892130-enu-x86_7e1189ce89fb0c693cad6432a4c2f982dcea49a0.exeand is the kb892130.exe failer to install fix again if you need it.WGADiag2.exe <<--http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012also to who ever reads this that is new don't forget to grab the windows update agent you will have to do a search cause it has been a while since I looked it up......the windows update agent goes hand in hand with the WGA kb892130.exeLOL It is great to have the windows update site fire right up no problems again..........whoo hooooooooooo!!!!!!!!
