Hey does anyone have got an image of Norton Partition Magic 8.0.5. If yes pls can anyone upload it or email it to me. Or can anyone help me how to create the image for Norton Partition Magic 8.0.5, and which files are required.

I recall the pervious versions having this option...

I do not think the request of copyrighted software comforms the forum rules, no matter how many "thanks" or "please" you may offer.

I think he/she is asking for a bootable image?

Incidentally, I didn't know Symantec made Partition Magic

bootable image contains the regular software, which is copyrighted.

Symantec took over the business of Powerquest since the end of last year.

I want to create an image of Norton Partition Magic 8.0.5. so anyone can help me in this.

If you own the software, there is an option with in the installed application to make a bottabel image.

If someone does not have the software, then he asks that again and again...

there is an application in the full program to make the bootable disk

I have got the Norton Partion Magic 8.05 and even i have created a bootable floppy from it but i want to know how to create an image of the floppy & which all files are required for it.

If you wish to make a Image of your existing Boot Floppy or an any grouping of files, there are many utilities one of which is Winimage:

Lois, Where do you find the 8.0.5 version? All I can see on the Symantec Website is an update to 8.0.1...

From what it sounds like, you have created the bootable disc, correct?

You want to turn your floppy into an image that you can use on the computer, or on a CD. I hope I am understanding this correctly, cause if I am not, then I'm just wasting my time!

Simply buy (yeah right!)/download software called "WINIMAGE" It is software designed for creating/editing floppy images.

All you have to do is tell the software to create an image of your floppy disc! Its that easy!

One thing to make sure of though, whatever boot loader that might be on your CD, make sure you create in image thats compatable with it.

by the way, WINIMAGE is (unlimited)shareware, so you can test it before buy it.
