so.. i'm cleaning my computer and the area around.. i accidently spray 409 into the usb slot... :blushing:

Windows pops up and says New USB device detected. then says your USB device is now ready to be used or whatever.. lol so does this mean my computer will clean itself now?

This is about as good as the paper clip USB topic whever it went.. :P

Funny how some stuff gets seen as usb devices - and some usb devices plain doesn't work. We got some motherboard/usb memory stick combos that make the pc reboot upon insertion - no warning whatsoever, just like pressing reset. They're nicknamed reboot sticks now lol

I didn't think someone would want one of those... It works on some PCs, it just doesn't recognize on some, and reboots others. It seems to depend on the mobo's chipset. They aren't worth what shipping would cost ;)

oooo, where are you shipping those reboot sticks from??

if those work in macs, i will send it to my friend, and drive him crazy. or just give it to the computer guy at school lol

My cat is a valid USb device.

It used to sleep on the top vent of my case near the USB ports and windows used to pop up a box ever now and then, problem was I could never find drivers for him :)
