Hotfixes For Windows XP Professional SP2

Featured Replies

as I said, it's the same as MDAC. You didn't USE the ENTIRE line. Skimming something, does not mean the same as reading.

why isn't the pack of ryanmv not put in the firs post + description?

or just a link to the page...

how do i slipstream this hotfix like in ryanmv's pack? kb834707

I've got windows xp sp2 in dutch language

bit of a stupid question, but how do you download a file from windows update without installing it (for XPCD purposes)?

Each hotfix identified on WindowsUpdate will have a Details link for it. It will take you to the article that talks about the patch. You can download it from there.

what about the driver updates. I tried this and it just takes me to some MS site not to the drivers. With SP1 the driver update were in the temp internet files (after they were d/led). I can not find them at all with SP2.

Any ideas?? :}

Go to the Windows Update Catalog. It's linked from the main Windows Update site.

Hmm, do we have a complete list with all needed Hotfixes and their required switches?

The best list I'm aware of is my own list at http://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/

The switches for all post-SP2 hotfixes are the same (so far anyway): /q /n /z

And of course, they also all support the /integrate command.
