September 30, 200421 yr @contenderIf you download my 9.88 version you will see that it work fine either but the point is the real version is 2.47This tread should be closed or removed to stop confusionMod???
September 30, 200421 yr And what are you people basing your assumption (of the cdimage v2.52 existing) on?The "creator Application" field in an ISO?That can be changed to anything you want - you can even make it say the ISO was created by cdimage v6.890 or whatever.....its based on this information...obtained from Microsoft and MSDN...personally..that MS used 2.52...but i think the one posted here is fake..the headers and time stamps are the same.Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 RTM Update English CD ISO(NOTE: This CD is NOT the whole OS, SP2 RTM update only)VRMSP_EN2004-08-04 12:00:00.00MICROSOFT CORPORATIONMICROSOFT CORPORATION, ONE MICROSOFT WAY, REDMOND WA 98052, (425) 882-8080CDIMAGE 2.52 (03/09/2004 TM)
September 30, 200421 yr yeah..i think its fake..the 2.47 and this 2.52 have the same time stamp and header info...bu there is a 2.52...I got this info from MSDN a while back.Microsoft MSDN Library July 2004 DVD ISOQTR55ENUD12004-05-23 17:00:00.00MICROSOFT CORPORATIONMICROSOFT CORPORATION, ONE MICROSOFT WAY, REDMOND WA 98052, (425) 882-8080 CDIMAGE 2.47 (10/12/2000 TM)Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 RTM Update English CD ISO(NOTE: This CD is NOT the whole OS, SP2 RTM update only)VRMSP_EN2004-08-04 12:00:00.00MICROSOFT CORPORATIONMICROSOFT CORPORATION, ONE MICROSOFT WAY, REDMOND WA 98052, (425) 882-8080CDIMAGE 2.52 (03/09/2004 TM)
October 3, 200421 yr right now...there is specualation about this version....however the MSDN ISO shows to be packed with 2.52...and alot of others are looking for this...some kid hex edited 2.47 to show 2.52 so be aware of any fake version....but to anwser your question....2.52 seems to be a mystery....and 2.47 works just fine.
October 3, 200421 yr thx jroc.but when i saw some pics at:http://bbs.long-jf.com/showthread.php?t=220596&page=4
October 3, 200421 yr Yet another of this...Merging all 3 of these threads to one.@dosarIs there any link to download it, at the place where you saw this screenshot?
October 3, 200421 yr Hmm, well a hex-edit comparison of the two files seems to indicate that this may be real, but it looks like the /? help section has been severely pruned. The options still work, but most of the help listings are now MIA. Also, the order of several listings within the program are now changed, which would be extremely hard, if not impossible, to do with hex-editing. The file sizes are quite different too. 2.47 is 107K, and "2.52" is 74K. However, having said that, even if this version 2.52 of CDImage is valid, who cares? Like prathapml said, v2.47 works great without any problems and there's no features we need that it doesn't already support. You guys can keep chasing this elusive 2.52 version if you like, I'll stick with 2.47 until it no longer does what I need it to.
October 5, 200421 yr Yet another of this...Merging all 3 of these threads to one.@dosarIs there any link to download it, at the place where you saw this screenshot?sorry, i couldn't get the link to download it.
October 19, 200421 yr So there's no CDImage 2.52 available as of yet.All the 2.52 versions that are available on the net are fake ones.Hmm.. Wondering where the genuine one is!
October 20, 200421 yr If you dont miss a major function of the (possable) new version, you dont need to chase after a phanton. My advice: 1. first to find out witch function is new2. sencond to find out how to use it (switches, parameters)3. last to find where to download.
August 26, 200520 yr If there really is a real undoctored version 2.52 out there, someone please send me a link or email it to me.
