DisabledTrucker
Anyone else out there getting an error when silently installing Google Toolbar 2.0.112 with the typical switches? v2.0.111 works fine but 112 gives me an error. I have redl it several times but same thing happensI recently emailed Google themselves and was told that there aren't any switches for the new toolbar installer, I emailed them back and complained about it, I also noticed they include one now that goes on your taskbar, but unsure if there are any switches for it at this time either.Maybe someone else can enlighten us as to how to go about installing one of these features, I personally like the toolbar one best. pinout
I ran into the same problem, manually install the toolbar and make a copy of the file %PROGRAMFILES%\Google\GoogleToolbar1.dllMake your batch file copy that DLL to wherever you want it then run regsrv32.exe /s path\to\dll\GoogleToolbar1.dlldirty method but it works.. we'll have to manually install the toolbar every time a new version comes out and copy the new DLL until they put the switches back.Wonder why they dont work anymore?? `Felix`
Google ToolbarSwitch: /s /qn (or /q /d)Full syntax: GoogleToolbarInstaller.exe /s /qnFull syntax: GoogleToolbarInstaller.exe /q /d Extraction needed: NoNote: /d installs Google Toolbar without Advanced FeaturesIf you want to tailor the way the google toolbar looks after install - simply configure the look and options for the toolbar and then close IE. Open regedit and then export [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google\NavClient\1.1\Options] and add it to your regtweaks.reg file.Enjoy!
