July 12, 200224 yr How do I stop the clock area showing the date and day when the taskbar is at 2 levels? I like it better when its just the clock time being displayed.I've looked around in Regional Settings in the Control Panel hoping to find something.. but nothing
July 12, 200224 yr Well i'd like to get what you got, lol. So this question is also reversable to help me out I dont know... Weird though, should be somewhere...
July 12, 200224 yr TO CHANGE YOUR CLOCK TO HIDE THE DAY:Try looking here:To change the way your computer displays the timeOpen Regional and Language Options in Control Panel. On the Regional Options tab, under Standards and formats, click Customize. On the Time tab, specify any changes you want to make. TO SHOW THE DAY:If your computer is a member of a domain, you will not be able to see the date and Day as sicribed here because your clock is set by your server.

So how exactly would I hide the Day name and Date?
July 13, 200224 yr Do you have anything such as Tweak-XP installed?I do not think displaying the date in the sys tray can be done without a reg hack or one of the tweaking tools.LS
July 13, 200224 yr Author I'm very much against using TweakXP, is there a reg hack you may know of? I'll try using X-Setup 6.2 (one of the best advanced tweakers IMO ) But I doubt X-Setup has the option, unless its been added by LiveUpdate
July 13, 200224 yr piaqt,are you having a laugh again?if not,IMO( IMHO),=in my opinion,or in my humble opinion.hope that helps,have fun.
July 13, 200224 yr Aaron, just an idea, are you logged on as Administrator?! Maybe that would solve your problem, log on as Admin, make the changes and return.
July 26, 200224 yr Unlock Taskbar. Drag it down and it will collapse the clock to just the time. Lock the Taskbar....
July 26, 200224 yr Author Unlock Taskbar. Drag it down and it will collapse the clock to just the time. Lock the Taskbar....I know that, but I like having the taskbar 2 levels high, it gives room for the quicklaunch icons I place there.
July 26, 200224 yr my quicklaunch bar is jammed, too, but I can still fit all the icons on one level.
