Seems to me, strictly speaking as an observer, that you "get into it" quite often with those of differening perspectives than your "inner circle" (those that you "agree" with 100% of the time and "like" 100% of the time).

Non-standard thinking people and agreeing/disagreeing are two different things.

How all those agreeing to my posts folks are related to non-standard thinking people? Please explain, you want to tell I'm the one who is a golden standard which pretty much everyone agrees? Thanks for the compliment.

When I got the forum up I banned all of his known accounts

Would you tell him, I forgave him a long time ago. If you have a chance, thanks.

as of yesterday evening eclipse.cx is officially down due to server errors that caused an emergency server move  @K4sum1 is aware of the issues and is working on restoring everything but for now nothing works and will get an ajax 500 error on loading the site i know quite a few people use this forum and i hope this does not interfere with anything

I don't think I heard of it before, and I definitely wouldn't miss any good technical site.

One good thing that you may like is when MSFN goes down, we usually post status updates there too, so it helps both ways :)

Jody, thank you my friend, you're very helpful as usual. I'll upvote you when the limit is recharged once again.

You're full of good ideas, indeed!

@legacyfan, I think there's a requirement to avoid duplicating posts and topics about the same things all over again. @Tripredacus

Already have that.

https://msfn.org/board/topic/184031-whatever-happened-to-eclipsecx/

this has nothing to do with that thread as its talking about the emergency server move situation not just that its down as its not down just very buggy to use right now

Why is it important to write about it here? Was there any archived or somehow important info stored?

I forgot there was a thread like this here. I only got notified now that I'm in the process of configuring an email server again and I got some emails now.

Basically I had to migrate to another server while I was still in the process of setting it up, which means there's some bugs. Periodically giving an error 500 is one of these bugs. I'm not sure what causes this exactly, but my temp workaround is to cron job restart the server every so often. So if it occurs, the server will automatically restart the process and fix the issue after a bit.
