which Realtek chipset must have the PCI Express LAN card to make sure I can get debug in XP?

I know for sure that the chip on the AB350 Gaming K4 works in XP - Realtek RTL8111GR

@Andalu

I just test the V4 version.

It has Dev_8161 and installs under XP SP3 only with the very last driver from Realtek from 2018.

But it works also with Windbg over Lan, see photo from just now

Dietmar

PS: I disabled for this the i211 and the i219 lans in Bios of the z370 Asrock gaming k6 board.

The V2 version has Dev_8168 , which is a much more common chip from Realtek.

I would buy V2 version of tp-link TG-3468 .

EDIT: Even from version v2 exists different cards. My has 2001500224

but now most v2 have 2001500217.

Can I get that library only after a win10 update? Whenever I have to use and even worse, connect to the network with that operating system I get urticaria.

I can't help with it, most simple way - download latest Win10 ISO (probably from p2p) and extract requred file manually

it's hard to find on amazon.it (I prefer it for the fast shipping) a card with the SG24701A chipset as for the LG2013D.

@Damnation

This card has the RTL8111G (without the final "R") chipset but I don't know if it can be the right card. RTL8111GR seems to be present on motherboards only.

My research continues.

@Andalu

you can use Windows ISO downloader to download any and all Windows 10 version x86/64 from 1507 to 21H2

edit: yeah that card should work fine.

No problem. I prefer not to resort to P2P. Despite having 2 licenses for Win10 I have at the same time a complete refusal for this OS that I never really used.

shipping much faster up on Amazon than on ebay and return possibilities within 14 days (even without motivating) with pick up of the product at home.

When I switch USB ports from 2.0 mode to 3.0 mode by using the Intel USB3 HCSwitch device driver or the WPCRSET tool, some of my USB flash drives are no more recognized ("USB device not recognized" tooltip on the desktop)

In the devices manager there is a code 10 (device can't start).

Before the switch and if I rollback to the 2.0 mode, the same USB flash drives are perfectly recognized and usable.

On all computers, it's always the same USB flash drives that are concerned.

Any idea about this issue ? :crazy:

:hello:

Haven't heard of that issue before.

Try the latest acpi.sys from the latest posts.

If it doesn't work, try to install Windows 7 x86, Intel USB3 HCSwitch driver, modded USB3 from MDL and see if you have the same issue.
