i have a question i should have asked a while ago. what is the NT 6.1.reg for.

I believe it spoofs the NT version from 6.0 to 6.1 to make certain programs think its on Windows 7, since the kernels are essentially the same.

it resets unless u have the custom bootloader, thus it will still show 6.0 if u dont and wont work.

I don't think it has already been asked in the forum but today I noticed that Office 2016 is not working, the installer says that a newer version of Windows is required and it won't even start. If it can be solved how do I can do it?

It has been asked a few times. Nothing can be done currently afaik as the needed functions have not been implemented.

I made an experimental version of ntoskrnl that is unable to change the key, but it isn't the one that is in the folder IIRC, as I found the registry key to have little effect on the system. I thought it had more of an impact on the OS then, but now it doesn't seem that way.

The idea to change the version numbers in ntoskrnl came from 2000/XP, where it is more substantial.
