JorgeA Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 This gentleman claims that it all works together for him:http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?s=7f2b387094682430979cd61d16a4a552&showtopic=133102I'm on Windows 8, with Ice Dragon as my primary browser. It's currently running with no conflicts, installed programs and plugins are EMET 4.0, Hitman Pro, Comodo Internet Security Pro, MBAM Pro, Zemana Antilogger free, Win Patrol free, Hitman Alert, Secunia PSI, CCleaner (runs every startup), Adblock+, Ghostery, Disconnect, DoNotTrackMe, Noscript, Dephormation, Secret Agent, HTTPS everywhere, Greasemonkey, Tab Group Switcher, LastPass, MaskMe, and Check4Change. Anybody here have a (working) multi-layered security setup to rival that one? --JorgeA
Tripredacus Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Seems a bit overkill. Seems to me that guy might do better unplugging his network cable. IMO NoScript and a hardware firewall is enough to stop just about anything from coming in.
JorgeA Posted September 24, 2013 Author Posted September 24, 2013 I had the same impression.Seems to me that guy might do better unplugging his network cable. --JorgeA 1
Tarun Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Seems a bit overkill.Exactly this. That amount of "security" is borderline paranoia and dangerously overkill. What I find most laughable is he says it's about security, yet he's using Comodo...
