Commodore Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Perhaps just don't exist an alternative for windows 98, like dopdf or tinypdf on 2000 and next? Thanks you.
jumper Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 I think this was discussed in Printing with KernelEx 4.5.1. Try seaching the forums for "print to pdf".It may now be possible to run dopdf or tinypdf in 9x with the help of KernelEx and Kexstubs.
Commodore Posted December 22, 2014 Author Posted December 22, 2014 Hi all! I have found a partial (poor) solution for the pdf printer.> http://paraschopra.com/software/pdfproducer.phpUnfortunately, it's relevant only for only text documents, but in this case it works fine.
dencorso Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 No KernelEx needed. What is needed is Adobe PDFWriter, which actually does not work on the NT-family OSes, just on 9x/ME.As everything from Adobe, though, it's a non-redistributable, so it cannot be attached to MSFN, in case someone still has it.
Commodore Posted December 23, 2014 Author Posted December 23, 2014 What is needed is Adobe PDFWriterThanks Dencorso. Actually an old Acrobat's cd with Pdfwriter would be ideal. However, to my current need the plain text solution is sufficient ...i hope Ah, many good wishes for Christmas for you and all
dencorso Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 I think (but I may be wrong at it) that the very last version of PDFWriter came with Adobe Acrobat 5.0, but it was standalone, as it always was and did not require Acrobat's Licence Key to be installed or run, since it is unredistributable but freeware, IIRR.
submix8c Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Maybe this will help? http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/502806/pdf-printer-for-windows-98se/http://www.primopdf.com/http://www.oldapps.com/primopdf.php
