Run any decent hardware detection program (HWinfo32 or SIV) from the existing OS (if applicable) to see that. Most are portable and run from a PE as well.

Your last thread was urgent as well.

Google reveals "FreeDos" initially installed.

Could be an AMD chipset or an Intel chipset according to the manual. You either have to use a hardware detection tool (as Ponch said) or open it up and inspect it.

Google "Compaq Presario CQ43-303AU" (with the quotes) and you'll see the Manuals listed (PDF's) and basic Specs (which says FreeDos).

You don't need basic specs, weight, dimensions, you need to find out what the SATA controller is. Does post #2 not display on your screen ?

the general VEN_1002&DEV_4391

I don't use a A50M fusion. Does this match a A50M fusion?

Currently driver supports

PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4391&CC_0106

PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4392&CC_0104

PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4393&CC_0104

PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4394&CC_0106

PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_7801&CC_0106

PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_7802&CC_0104

PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_7803&CC_0104

PCI\VEN_1022&DEV_7804&CC_0106

However I doubt the RAID IDs at given machnie, a AHCI ID should match.

Do you deffo need the driver or are you able to change from AHCI mode to "Compatability/IDE" Mode in the BIOS?
