Changing Windows Xp Version

How do I change windows xp version? I know nlite can show windows version in desktop so I just want to add my name in the windows version

I've not used this in nLite myself, but I'll venture to say (and could be wrong; if so I'll be corrected) that it's a Custom Desktop Web Page with an embedded script that extracts the information from the Registry. If this is true, then you might be able to "hard-code" your name into it.

I apologize if the information is wrong and, as I said, I'll probably be corrected. I have no time right now to test this.

edit - (see jaclaz' post below) and here is how the Version gets "plugged in" (to correct my partial misinformation).

Do you mean changing it in Computer Properties or other similar locations? You can do some in the registry, some by editing files.
