Geyelord879
Personally I would like to import my contacts from outlook. I would also like to see an IM service attached to it, I think that would be kewl. I would like them to do away with the automically creating a contact u send an email to. I think that sux cause not everyone u write an email to, you want added to your contacts. Moreover, we can not say that the players happy and headlong run into the online casinos, creating queues at the registration stage. Tripredacus
Doesn't Gmail have a POP3 or IMAP option? I remember once configuring OE to use Yahoo with POP3.

Everything I do in Outlook would have to go through our exchange server anyway (nevermind the shared folders missing and tons of stuff -- totally different mentalities/uses)I would also like to see an IM service attached to it, I think that would be kewlThey've already (horribly) failed twice at this (jabber and wave)

Sp0iLedBrAt
@KelsenellenelvianYou mean without actually showing in Inbox with a label? I'd like my GMail account to start WORKING! The only thing I can do is open and read an e-mail. I'll settle with anything else and agree with any of your ideas
Andromeda43
In XP, I set up Outlook Express to download my email from Gmail, every three minutes. Sending Gmail from O.E. is just as simple. The only draw back to GMail is that you can't send email to large groups of recipients. I keep a local email account for that.In Vista, I use Windows Mail for my Gmail and in Win-7 I use Windows Live Mail. Gmail works equally well with all of them.In Google Mail, setting up POP3 (and disabling IMAP) is just a matter of a few mouse clicks.I only need to actually go to GMail once a week to empty my SPAM folder and see how many NON-Spam emails wound up in there. While I'm there, I empty the other folders as well. I set up a lot of my friends and customers with GMail, because they can change their ISP and not have to change email addresses.Cheers mates! jaclaz
In XP, I set up Outlook Express to download my email from Gmail, every three minutes. Either lots of people send e-mails to you or you really like to be hassled very often......(or you actually have a very strict amti-spam policy and then you will get the actually important messages only once a week ) Murphy's Law applies to e-mail anti.spam filters too. jaclaz
