Just tried version 6.1.5 when I click the cleanup.cmd checkbox.

When I return to the main screen the remove item and its checkbox

are gone.

I should have said start over with this version for all the changes I made

EDIT: I see what you talking about, thats something in process and is not complete so don't worry about it. should be hidden all along while I work on it. oops

get this AIK_Windows7_DocUpdate_10.2009.zip and extract to your Help folder, then you can use the Help buttons to create shortcuts to them.

I am getting error, when I click any key after this

I got this error and application closes

"Runtime error 76.

Path not found"

Everything was smooth but when I tried to pack Image I am getting this error and the application is closing.

Please help me guys.

I wouldn't do all that bold stuff they will chastise you here

It didn't unmount by your picture

Shutdown Se7en_UA. Try Using both of the Cleanup zMountDir right click

If you add the Right Click .wim Go to Se7en_UA\uaDVD\sources folder, right click on any .wim and use both the zMountDir Cleanup

May need to Delete this Registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WIMMount\Mounted Images

My Jump2Reg app is 64 aware and will show that key BTW

Delete zMountDir and Restart

zMountDir will be recreated each time if not exist

With the new improved 7background.rar I needed to release this to get it all.

You don't need to d/l 7background.rar again if you already have. It includes cmd files now is all

Hello;

I'm using version 6.1.6 on Windows 7 64bit. When I launch the program I'm getting the following error

Run-time error '372'

Failed to load control 'CommonDialog' from Comdlg32.ocx. Your version of Comdlg32.ocx may be outdated. Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application.

Found the version of the current one, 5.1.43.19, it is located in "C:\Windows\SysWOW64".

What language is the interface / program written in? I have .net 3.5 SP1 and .net 4.0 beta installed currently.

It is currently installed to the following location on my PC "C:\Image-Creation\Se7en_UA".

Uninstall and put on root of drive. C:\Se7en_UA or any drive root.

I and several other programs here do that because of the sensitivity of cmd lines to dism we use.

I tried that, but still receiving the same error message.

I think it is something else at this point.

edit: Sorted it out. I loaded up a VM of Win7-Ent 64bit and tried the software, it ran. Checked the file version of comdlg32.ocx in the VM which was 6.1.97.82 date 3/9/04. SO copied this file over top of my older one, and it seems to be working correctly. No to figure out what downgraded this OCX file in the first place.

my installer will install the 6.1.97.82 but only if file don't exist already, maybe I need to change that but let me test on xp first cause this works from xp, Vista or seven

Remove Dvd copy and uninstall and start over with this

You don't have to copy Dvd to experiment with the Services Disabler.

EDIT: Forgot, If box is checked and you uncheck it it sets back to the default, will need to reboot for that to work again.

You hover mouse over a checkbox and it tells what it is briefly. I really don't think I need to go into detail on that, you should know what you're doing before messing with Services.

blackviper is someone who knows more about Services and been messing with Services since XP

No Removes yet, I've been experimenting and doing 3 right now but it's incomplete.

For thre life of me

I cant get imagex to work. I keep getting an error message stating that the wimmount.sys is not installed. To fix the error , install wimmount.sys. I tried gimagex and it work fine. I cant proceed with creating an unattended until I get past this. Does anyone have any suggestions ? I tried copying winmount.sys to both c:\windows\system32 and c:\windows\system32\drivers directory. I am trying to create this using windows xp. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have WAIK installed?

Are you going for Vista or 7?

There are conflicts if you try and use both the wimmount things with xp

BTW: You need none of that to use my app, gimagex used the old stuff best I recall

If you're using my app and copying the dvd i need to see your .ini file, to refresh it delete the Se7en_UA.ini and restart where it creates a new one. Attach here
