June 15, 200917 yr yeah needs cascade other than that youll get used to it. sometimes it brings the wrong window to the front so its still a little buggy.
June 16, 200917 yr disable grouping. it will return to the vista-like task bar (as i have done).you can enable grouping only when taskbar is full.i'm happy with certain aspects of the taskbar, such as jumplists.
June 18, 200917 yr That is my main concern with the new taskbar: It doesn't show the last used window of a given program when clicking on the icon.Another one is that you can't pin folders with their own icon because you only get to pin them to Windows Explorer.

July 10, 200917 yr Another one is that you can't pin folders with their own icon because you only get to pin them to Windows Explorer.Well, technically that's true, because it's a folder and there's already a "folder" in the taskbar (Windows Explorer), which would be used anyway to open said folder. I understand what you mean (a direct link to a folder), but technically it's behaving as expected. Whether or not that's good, is probably up to the beholder. But for the sake of consistency, it is at least expected behavior.

July 16, 200917 yr Is there any indication on the taskbar icons that show if some are in fact minimized windows and not shortcuts?
