that´s the reason, why i asked. i think somehow you have to extract the SP2.exe to integrate the result as a hotfix and maybe also a language file. i tried it with winrar but that didn´t work.

You have to to it with the reverse Integration method:

First install the Sp1, next install the Sp2 and then sysprep and capture it into a new Install.wim!

Just a guess, but i think the reason why he doesn't have time now, is because he has been hired by Microsoft. They obviously liked his programs.

Now SP2 RTM is finally released and i would like to know how to extract and slipstream it into my Vista because Microsoft said it will be possible with SP2 when SP1 was released.

Wave 0 of Vista SP2 RTM (5 language edition) was posted on the MSDN Subscription and Technet Subscription downloads pages in the afternoon of April 30 as I've looked myself.

If you aren't afraid of a VM and making a WinPE disc, it's pretty easy to do it. First, you'll need the Vista SP1 AIK, the SP2 installation media, and a VM with a 40GB hard disk (Hyper-v, Virtual PC, VMWare, etc - doesn't matter how you do it). There's a post with pictures here by a user named "bjfrog" that shows you how to do it. Once you've got the install.wim with SP2, extract your Vista DVD to a folder on your machine, replace the \sources\install.wim with the new SP2 install.wim, and use oscdimg to make a new ISO you can then burn.
