Tripredacus Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 My favorite, IE5.5 is missing from your list. Also, Maxthon is hardly a browser, more like IE with skin support.
g-force Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 (edited) IE8-Test for Quick/Full-Edit:Quick-Edit: okayFull-Edit: okayEdit: I use IE8 RC1 with WindowsXP SP3. Edited March 1, 2009 by g-force
Yzöwl Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Unfortunately none of my three Windows Browsers are in the list:KMLiteTheWorldSRWare IronMy usual three Linux Browsers, none of which get a mention are:EpiphanyGaleonKonqueror
Zxian Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I'm using IE8 on a day-to-day basis without any major troubles. Some sites require "compatibility view" in order to render properly, but they're the exception rather than the norm.
Maleko Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 using IE8 at work, no problems, and as Zxian, can use compatibility mode

It won't work in XP. Works in Vista. Seems like a fact that IE8 is designed mainly for Vista...nitroshift is funny My favorite, IE5.5 is missing...Hmm... IE5.5... very old. A great, loyal fan of the old IE5.5.Sorry cluberti.. done the same mistake twice as i post the two poll-cum-topics together before getting the first notice from cluberti... will not repeat...
MillenX Posted March 1, 2009 Author Posted March 1, 2009 K-Meleon Lite (KMLite) seems quite popular. How good is it?Anyone use Google Chrome? I feel like surfing on a fast board. great pleasure. clean and light, not stuffy like IE8.

MillenX Posted March 1, 2009 Author Posted March 1, 2009 Seems that Yzowl is pretty professional about browsers.feel great for SRWare Iron i'll try it
Zenskas Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 My vote goes straight to firefox. Been using it from the first version 2 and it is heaps better than IE. Fast and looks good, customizable, secure etc. I don't know about IE 8 though because I have not used it yet but will soon.
MillenX Posted March 17, 2009 Author Posted March 17, 2009 If i were to vote i'll cast firefox a vote based on its performance. but i dun like its style (except theme). dont know how to explain bout "style" but just dont feel comfortable v it. mayb just dont get used to it. 1 "postal" vote for firefox!
