beware of dell laptops

Featured Replies

any laptop of dell have it ?

i wanna buy DELL+Inspiron+1525

Not to mention that a heatshrink-wrapped component may live fine in an external keyboard, but the heat inside a laptop would damage the wrap more likely than not. Not to mention the fact that the email poster (and the other hoaxes) likely got their info from this link, which shows a component which would take up a considerable amount of space in an already cramped-for-space laptop.

Dell would never do that, Thats like illegal. I use to dislike Dell, but they have been doing pretty darn good and I am thinking to buy a laptop from there someday and I am currently buying one of there 22inch UltraSharp mointors :P

Why does everyone say everything is fake??

Has anyone tried this themselves and found a keylogger??

I have "seperated" many dell laptops. No keylogger in there.

Also look at the anti-trust lawsuits on MS...

You think Dell would actually get away with that for long?

seriously, if dell wanted to hide a keylogger inside their laptops they wouldnt need to resort to the backyard mechanic hacked-a** method of adding a keylogger. theyd just integrate it into the MB inside an already present microchip and youd never know it was there.

besides what possible reasons do you think a company like Dell (supposedly in conjunction with DHS) could possibly want from your laptop?

  1. They want to see your friends myspace profiles that are set to private - www.myspace.com<enter>snookiebut@gmail.com<tab>Password1<enter> = "General! We are in! Now you can make that skank pay for rejecting your friend request!"
  2. Billions in spending on "internet surveillance" and DHS still cant find a decent porn site. "Somebody get Micheal Dell on the phone! I have an needlessly elaborate scheme that will solve this problem!"
  3. Not content to be the #1 US PC manufacturer, Dell plans to take over all the tech bloggers keyboards in and effort to drive their competitors out of the market.
