mara-
Everything seems fine in your log. I don't know what is wrong. My slipstreamer even use MSINODISABLEMEDIA=1 switch which should allow installation from CD. As I could read here on forum only solution is that you leave CD label empty, or if you have CD-RW you could try to put some label which is without spaces.Example:Office2003- correctOffice 2003- not correctCheers Edited February 12, 2008 by mara-
schakan
I'm trying to do an unattended office installation using the slipstreamer output but it fails. The problem seems to be to pass the variables from setup_h.exe to setuppro.exe ( TRANSFORMS="C:\Office2003\Unattended.MST" /qb- ). Is the support for unattended installation there now or will it be supported in a later release?cheers
mara-
It is supported, I just tested, everything works fine with me. Here is the example for you:"e:\office 2003\setup_h.exe" TRANSFORMS="E:\office 2003\New Custom Setup File.MST" /qb-Cheers
schakan
Yes, Unattended install seems to work. Splendid.I probably made a syntax error before. Thanks Edited February 14, 2008 by schakan

ashraf21c
Is the rar file portable?
mara-
Is the rar file portable? Anyway, I just uploaded updated English.lng file in first post so you can update your translations. And you can use your translation, but you need to add new lines from English.lng and you need to check some old lines since I changed few of it.Cheers
ashraf21c
Hi! I had downloaded the translation file.....however,what about creating a portable version????

danielrcom
Hi guys...Can anyone help me with this:I just installed the 1.4-beta version (on setup I selected brazilian language), but I couldn't even use the software. When I try to start the slipstreaming by selecting "INSTALAR.EXE"/"SETUP.EXE" (whatever), both doesn't appear immediately. Then I typed "*.*" to show all .exe files. Then I got this error:Anyone had the same problem? I really would like to use the Slipstreamer in order to make an "Office2003+SP3+Hotfixes+Compatibility Pack" CD. mara-
That is very strange. What is the name of main executable for launch of your Office Setup (screen shot of your CD files would be nice, root folder only). And can you post your log? It is located in Slipstreamer folder.Cheers Edited February 23, 2008 by mara-
danielrcom
What is the name of main executable for launch of your Office Setup (screen shot of your CD files would be nice, root folder only). It's a PT-BR CD, so it's "INSTALAR.EXE". I downloaded this CD many years ago... And work perfectly. And can you post your log? It is located in Slipstreamer folder.I think the log doesn't show anything...2008-02-23 19:39:49 : Logging started.2008-02-23 19:39:49 : -2008-02-23 19:46:02 : Setup File Description: Carregador da Instalação Microsoft2008-02-23 19:46:02 : Location of Setup.exe: D:\Office 2003\INSTALAR.EXE2008-02-23 19:50:12 : Logging started.2008-02-23 19:50:12 : -BTW, after the error that I mentioned before, the Slipstreamer crash. The autorun.inf file (I didn't touch it):[autorun]OPEN=INSTALAR.EXE /AUTORUNICON=INSTALAR.EXE,1shell\configure=&Configurar...shell\configure\command=INSTALAR.EXEshell\install=&Instalar...shell\install\command=INSTALAR.EXEShould I rename "INSTALAR.EXE" to "SETUP.EXE" and then try to use the Slipstreamer in English language? Because the software is not fully translated to Brazilian Portuguese. Edited February 23, 2008 by danielrcom
mara-
You can try to rename, but I need to figure why it don't work, I did not make it dependent on name of it, except this thing in in File Open dialog. And you can continue using your language, it does not affect Slipstreamer and it's not fully translated because I changed few stuffs and also there are some new things. When you test it, please post what's happening.Cheers EDIT: I found the problem. It will be fixed in next (final) version. In meantime, rename instalar.exe to setup.exe and then open Files/Setup and rename instalar.ini to setup.ini, and finally edit your autorun.ini to launch setup.exe.
