  1. If your screen size is 1366x768 and you use Windows 95, You may notice that the display does not auto resize after VMware tools is installed. This is how i fixed that issue. 1. If you haven't already, Install VMware Tools. 2.After the installer finishes. You will see a notepad window telling you how to install the SVGA drivers, which we will ignore. 3.In that notepad window, Go to File,Open and go to, C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware Tools\drivers\video (Sorry in advance if that's wrong) 3b. Go to the file type menu and set it to 'All files' then right click on VMX_svga and click properites. Then uncheck the 'read-only' attribute. Save the changes and open the file. 3c.You'll then see the driver file. Highlight the whole 'MODES?,800x600' text and copy and paste it. Make sure there is spaces. Then change the '800x600' to '1366x768' or desired resoultion and save it. 4. Then install the driver as intended. Using Display properites or device manager. Note: If the screen does not resize, you can try changing the resoultion to 600x480 or 800x600 and resizeing again. Comment down below if there's a problem with this guide. -Nerdulater
  2. I'm working on a 2007 20" iMac trying to get Windows 2000 running well. I believe it has a Mobility Radeon HD 2400xt. I was unable to install the drivers provided from apple for windows XP through device manager, even though the right hardware id was present. "ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 XT" = ati2mtag_M72, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_94C8&SUBSYS_0084106B The installer also didn't work, when I tried it with SP4 + UR1. I would try BWC's drivers, but they also don't appear to support this device. Does anyone have any idea on what the right direction to go from here is? Thanks. edit: turns out there are drivers for me! BWC's 2011/5/13 Version 11.5c(AGP+HDMI+Mobility) is the last one that has it.
  3. Hi there: Really long time no come back to MSFN... The new forum really run slow on my old Win9x machine, heh~ BTW, I am looking for the BIOS of the HP G210 display card BIOS, the exact outlook is as below pic: http://partsurfer.hp.com/ShowPhoto.aspx?partnumber=586382-001 I pretty sure my card's BIOS is corrupt, since I tried to flash other brand (MSI/PNY) G210 BIOS to this card, and it becomre alive again, but the side effect is that the fan becore so NOISEY, its why I look for the original BIOS for the card. This card is in lots of HP/Compaq desktop computer, if some MSFNers see this post, pls help me to backup the BIOS by GPU-Z or nvflash, thanks a lots! NOTE: the slimline series also got this card, but in low profile, the upper VGA head is disabled by BIOS (Coz I got this BIOS and tried) Best Regards, Ken Yaksa
