  1. I ran into the same issue with my Windows 2000 iMac install. BWC I think documented it first with a Mac Mini -- the Bios emulation provided by Apple doesn't work with any multi processor HALs, and the XP HAL isn't as functional -- some tasks performed by the HAL in 2000 are instead offloaded to other parts of the system in XP. You might be better off trying to hack on the Mac legacy bios. Maybe if you can get Coreboot running on your Mac, then you can boot through that.
  2. BWC, I just made a new thread in w2k about this, but I was wondering if you could support the Radeon HD 2400xt (Mobility?) present in the Aluminum iMac in these drivers. I believe it's: "ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 XT" = ati2mtag_M72, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_94C8&SUBSYS_0084106B If you don't have any catalyst drivers that support this device I could send some to you to look at. Thanks. edit: just kidding, found in in 11 v5
  3. I'm working on a 2007 20" iMac trying to get Windows 2000 running well. I believe it has a Mobility Radeon HD 2400xt. I was unable to install the drivers provided from apple for windows XP through device manager, even though the right hardware id was present. "ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 XT" = ati2mtag_M72, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_94C8&SUBSYS_0084106B The installer also didn't work, when I tried it with SP4 + UR1. I would try BWC's drivers, but they also don't appear to support this device. Does anyone have any idea on what the right direction to go from here is? Thanks. edit: turns out there are drivers for me! BWC's 2011/5/13 Version 11.5c(AGP+HDMI+Mobility) is the last one that has it.
  4. Hello, I installed 2.8g on a SP4 + Update Rollup 1 machine, but afterwards my computer could not login. (Domain was Unavailable). I'm going to reformat and try again here soon, but I was wondering if maybe there was an updated list explaining the differences of the different KernelEx. Thanks.
