  1. The XML parser code change is here: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?s=&...st&p=889162 The window.confirm code change examples are here:
  2. Not sure if this is related, but make sure your suspend state is set for S3 instead of S1.
  3. Added new server (lioncash) in the first post. Just finished setting it up today! Also, SMART failure on 7Server. Replaced the drive and is now rebuilding.
  4. Dude I have you on my computer!
  5. Yub Yub
  6. I think I played the game named after you...
  7. That's weird. I use Firefox both home and at work and have no problems.
  8. Its not an insult about the motherboard. The one in my home computer is older than yours.
  9. thankx 4 keeping assisting laptonic but ahmed faced the same problem and i think he have the clear soliution for this problem and i think jacles too have some soliution i hope they help me they might resolve my problem at all dear laptonic thx very much for helping me as much as u can i abreciate so Ahmad also had to do a lot of hard work to get his situation resolved. There were only ideas and hints from Jaclaz and myself since neither of us had access to that particular system. Ahmad didn't have the luxury of having a step by step process to follow. In fact, so much was done with that project that determining the correct workflow to resolve similar situations may well be impossible. If you read the entire thread, you will in fact find the part where the MBR was busted by using a (likely incorrect) tool from HP. So his initial problem had ceased to exist and became something else entirely.
  10. Hallo Hallo
  11. Yes, every time I take those surveys I picked Advanced PC user also!
  12. This website here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/documen...=reg_R1002_USEN Says your native resolution is 1600x900. If you go into your display properties, under Settings, you can change the resolutin there. If 1600x900 is not a choice, you might have to update your video drivers. The latest driver for this display adapter is located here: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Des...64〈=eng Be warned that it appears you have an old motherboard inside that computer. It is possible that it is not capable of the resolution your monitor is designed to use. However, it never hurts to try!
  13. DISM from the Windows 7 WAIK does not support modifying WIM files that are made from XP, Server 2003, Vista or Server 2008. I have already sent in this info to Microsoft as a feature request. The only work around you will have is to use a third-party application to modify those WIMS, or install an earlier version of the WAIK on another computer.
  14. Melotron - Dein Meister (Funker Vogt remix)
  15. What is the model of your monitor and also what video card or controller you have?
  16. New Skin on this post: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?s=&amp...st&p=885860 Additional changes in order to re-build this HTA to 32bit for use on Atom and other 32-bit CPUs. Changes made: - recompile all custom apps to ANSI instead of x64. - replace the Gimagex_com.dll with the 32bit version. - replace the SetRes exe instead of the 64bit resolution changer. - Edit the Startnet.cmd with setres: wpeinit wpeutil initializenetwork ping 127.0.0.1 -n 16 -w 1000 >null net use z: \\imagex\images Password1 /user:remote net use v: \\imagex\unattend regsvr32 /s misc/GImageX_COM.dll x:\windows\system32\misc\setres.exe 1024 600 32 60 mshta.exe x:\windows\system32\ImageX.hta - replace all extra DLLs and EXE (from Windows 7 install) to 32bit versions. I will be doing some testing with this version. The instructions should be the same as above, except make sure specify x86 instead of amd64 in the paths. Also not certain that the new background will work properly. I may have to change the colors in case the text does not appear properly. Server 2008 x64 (or any x64 OS) as the Technician PC will give a message using DISM to import packages. The following Hotfix needs to be applied. Unfortunately the one for 2008 x64 does not appear in the "Request" page so I am going to have to get my elsewhere. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/960037
  17. Boot up with the F8. Then choose Disable automatic restart on system failure. Then choose XP and then tell us what the STOP error is.
  18. I'm getting this error too! Using Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (OEM System Builder Pack) p/n X15-46015-01. This was an install off the CD, not using an unattend, and attempting to run Sysprep /OOBE /Shutdown. Nothing special here. This is my first time installing Ultimate, have done 3 Home Premium x64 without a problem. The Panther logs are showing two sets of infos: an hr=0x80070020 (ERROR_SHARING_VIOLATION) gle=0x20 (KERNEL_APC_PENDING_DURING-EXIT) and dwret= -2147024864 gle=0x20 So I am not doing anything with images or generalizing. All that is done is install the OS, then install the Windows 7 drivers (for Intel DG45ID) and no additional software. However, I went into services and STOPPED the Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service, and then set its start-up state to Manual. It was able to sysprep the computer without an error.
  19. Its normal for DISM /get-packages to show pending for all the packages, if this is what you meant by incomplete.
  20. What kind of keyboard? Try using a different type maybe?
  21. What is considered the "best" is highly subjective. As well as benchmark software, you could also run Burn software as well. Here are a couple examples: http://www.passmark.com/ http://www.futuremark.com/
  22. The minidump may be a viable troubleshooting item, but if you are able to create a full dump, it would be better. Follow these instructions if possible: http://www.msfn.org/board/creating-memory-dumps-t130003.html
  23. Other than Reshack? http://www.angusj.com/resourcehacker/
  24. Do you have any links to more info on this? I don't use System Restore and have never done a repair installation, so I'm wondering if it would be a concern or not. Oh yes, also forgot the important part, it blocks upgrades. This may mean some Windows Updates, but definately renders the inability to install a Service Pack. Info is included in the WAIK documentation, which is also available here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library...177(WS.10).aspx
