  1. There is a program called instsrv used to add and remove services. Put it in the $OEM$\$$\System32 and after PowerDvd installation, in your batch or RunOnceEx or whatever, execute instsrv "Cyberlink RichVideo Service(CRVS)" REMOVE I think you need to find out the actual name of the service, like wuauserv is to Auto Update and replace the "Cyberlink RichVideo Service(CRVS)" and without quotes. Just in case you don't know how to find the service name (most ppl do, but still) install PowerDvd, open services.msc, rightclick "Cyberlink RichVideo Service(CRVS)">properties and at the top it says service name. srvany.zip

    how to integrate that

Theme: Install the theme. Open your WINDOWS or WINNT folder on your current install. Copy the folder "Resources" to your $OEM$\$$ folder Open the folder $OEM$\$$\Resources and delete all folders except "Themes" Bootscreen: Go to Unattended guide bootscreens. Boot Editor doesn't seem to work for me though...
  3. Hey it works in virtual pc! OK, it's my computer. Thanks anyway.
  4. No CPU and 14mb RAM. The average readings from mshta.exe. @owikh84 My source is fine, it's my PC or WPI itself. Hey, maybe I should try it in a virtual machine... No errors,
  5. Exactly. I don't know how to do it in 7zip, but it is possible. The easiest way is PowerArchiver. Open the zip file, goto Tools>Make EXE Enter some settings and you're done!
  6. Sure... if you really want to see a white screen. Lets try putting the thumbnail up again, my PC doesn't seem to like me... http://$£&%^(%&,%20you%20thumbnails,%20here's%20a%20direct%20link.%5burl=http://img54.imageshack.us/my.php?image=wpi1ly.jpg%5d
  7. Oh, got a bit confused...
  8. Try not to use RapidShare, lots of people have problems with it.
  9. I have downloaded and redownloaded the prog, but if you want wpi.hta and cmd, it's here. They are both in C:\WPIW @Kels I still have IE, I am on a non-nLited XP. IE stopped working so I ran sfc /scannow and reinstalled all patches and IE works now , but no WPI. WPI.zip
  10. ALWAYS use nLite BEFORE the update pack. The update pack is the last thing you do. Even though on Ryan's website it says not to use nlite on update pack cds, it works for me.
  11. What to you mean by map? Not an atlas anyway... I get what you mean... 7-zip File Manager in 7-zip has a GUI and it supports making an sfx.
  12. ? It works fine for me...
  13. One question about ZoneAlarm itself (off topic but oh well) The xml file, it is the backed up security settings?
  14. Try: REG ADD %KEY%\010 /V 1 /D "%PP%zapSetup.exe /s /i /noreboot /lickey dalicencekey %PP%zoneconfig.xml" /f That has no second quote, you only need a quote around the path if it has a space. Remove your serial number...
  15. On nlite select patches and choose to disable SFP. This doesn't seem to work for me so I download pre-patched files from Ryan's update pack addons.
  16. Back to basics, try batch scripting before WPIW etc. http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/38/
  17. NONONO, I think you forgot to put the end quotation mark at the end of the switch! @oioldman it's REG ADD %KEY%\005 /V 2 /D "regedit /S \"%systemdrive%\install\zonealarm.reg"\" /f Or something like that when you have more than one quite. And you don't need quites unless there is a space between the path to regedit, and it's in system32 so you don't need to put a path, so the ideal way is REG ADD %KEY%\005 /V 2 /D "regedit /S %systemdrive%\install\zonealarm.reg" /f
  18. Plz help, all I see when I try to open the program on the cmd or hta with both lite and full is a white screen with a little grey box on the top left corner. Any help is appreciated.
  19. That sort of solves the problems I had with BTS driverpacks...
  20. I don't think so, I think p/wds are encrypted and stored in the registry but I'm not sure...
  21. The uAwiki.org is a great resource for switches. I use for AVG free: Nice avatar, lol.
  22. I had this same problem too but I can't remember how I fixed it... I think I reinstalled WMP and there was also a patch, try reintegrating the update pack. But will that conflict or something with other files...
  23. Try utilities like killprocesswait Set it to kill whatever process is the welcome screen. I installed with /qn /norestart and there was no screen... oh well. Oh, dont use the full installer. Download the online installer from http://widgets.yahoo.com and when it says installing, take out ywidgets_inst.exe from %temp% and xtract the msi. That has no welcome screen. Or use /S/V/"qn REBOOT=Suppress" on the exe itself.
  24. Is the download link down?
  25. Dl the Win Installer 3.1v2 here and integrate it as a hotfix in nLite. Or /Integrate:%windowscd% switch, but that's slower cos both patched and original files are on the cd, and Windows Setup chooses the appropriate one. Edit: let's try this again, url seems not to have come up... Download it here
