With the latest SCCM 2007, SMS etc. installed and running, i want to automate as much as possible a USMT scanstate from old PC, rebuild (bare metal) a new PC and then bring down (loadstate) the profile from the prior pc. There does note seem to be an easy way to do this with SCCM 2007 and USMT. One would think M$ would have provided examples of how to do this scenario but they don't. Anyone know where I can find out how to do this? I have searhed all over and cannot find anything. Thanks.

i download the dynamic update catalog once and put it on a share for use in an unattended install process. Wee need to find and download it again but I cannot find it anywhere on the windows update page. anyone know how to obtain the catalog? thanks.

how does one include the latest windows installer hotfix incorporated into a windows XP distribution on a network share where we run unattended installs, etc. We keep getting 3.0 installed not 3.1; as a result defender will not install unless we get the right msiexec installed. We need to update the i386 folder or hotfix folder to include the latest windows installer. thanks.
