I see what you are going on about but why would you even want to do that. It seems a bit pointless I execute a few progs via addon maker svcpack.inf btw I get an error, you know "access is denied, make sure the disk is not write protected or in use" etc. I asked ppl and they suggested changing the svcpack dir and it works at service.

No but all you can change in setupp.ini is illegal (unless you're mucking about or trying to corrupt your source). And probably because it's risky there isn't too much discussion on it. lol But most of the stuff you do to your cd burner is legal.

CCleaner, it cleans everything not just url history and all you have to do is click clean.

Scrap your reinstall idea for the time being, start up a virtual machine in vmware or bochs or something and download the fedora cursors separately. Don't xpize it, apply the cursors and see if the + sign is there or not. Don't jump to conclusions.

It's just there are... ah... methods that can be used illegally in setupp.ini. I won't say any more. The file specifically is not banned but it can be changed illegaly. You can change the type of your xp cd via a few numbers.

@Marque Welcome! Shouldn't you be posting a new topic rather than writing in an old one. To stop ie, remove it in nlite. Try removing components in nlite instead of winnt.sif ing them. Try reinstalling the KB917734 hotfix. Not via WU or MU but via the download centre. If it works and WU stops whining, integrate it.
