  1. 100% fixed my problem with 25 laptops. I am sure you will sort it with Dm0n.
  2. Windows XP - When you install a secondary drive it doesnt show up as a Drive Letter straight away you need to set it up. Goto Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Disk Management Do you see it as a drive in there? If you do, right click and then hit Format.
  3. is the server on a domain, and is the laptop on the domain too? Did you click reconnect at next logon when mapping a drive? make sure the user types in his\her username and password to access the shared resource, make sure that his\her security settings on the share are setup correctly
  4. I found out that it was a part of a codec pack I had installed. Uninstall the codec pack and anything related... cannot remember what it was. sorry.

There is something odd about the drivers as I am sure that you cannot have that many. but if it works then...hey..... ok i see it is a flat image. you need to have a blank password for this to work before you can rip prep it. that maybe both Rip Prep is the way to go after this as it only takes 5 - 10mins on a basic install of Windows.

  8. Make sure that cd recording is turned on, right click on the drive, Properties, Recording and then make sure that the tick box is ticked for enable this drive for recording. failing that check event viewer for any messages and post them here.
  9. it would be nice if you wrote the answer you found rather than leaving it blank, it might become useful one day.
  10. If you are using a machine name then you need to change it to %MACHINENAME%. As this will create problems - thus the machine has its own account. also when creating from a flat image you need to make sure that the password is blank "*"! Hope this helps
