i don't know if anyone's doing the fully non unattended installation, never saw any of that here. The fully unattended installation is easy, its getting the name and org screen to appear during gui setup.
I don't remember the brand, may have been 3com(however doesn't make sense with next statement) Cisco had some in I believe one of their blade routers or a firewall. It was a while ago sorry i can't provide much more info. may even have been 3 interface.
when the computer starts up, while loading security policies and such(before a user is able to logon) does it say whether its pushing the install or not? are you sure the right computers are in the right ou's did you try a gpupdate and reboot?
well. I got it partially attended, to the point where I can put in Serial, comp name, password, time zone and those pages, still can't put in Username, if I delete the Userdata section TXT setup complains. Is there a workaround for this?
I am in need of creating a Windows XP Pro and Home RIS Installation for Workgroups that is fully attended. I don't know what sections to add/remove from the ristndrd.sif file to make it fully attended. If anyone can help please do TIA
this solution doesn't work for me. I am an OEM Sys builder and love how RIS works, but the repartition - no usewholedisk - yes still automatically partitions and formats the drive.
I have 3 requests Windows Server 2003 Administration pack, (if not present, requires HotfixQ329357, would be a nice thing to include) Windows 2000 Server Admin pack for Windows 2000 and Speefan. Sorry don't know any switches, but the admin packs are free along with speedfan Thanks, this would be greatly appreciated.
