  5. It's my DriverPacks that are giving trouble :'(
  6. ****... then I wouldn't know... Except... try this: slipstream all DriverPacks except for DP LAN. It MUST be being caused somewhere inthere!
  7. @Ghost82: somehow I think it's better that you guys send your files to me and that I'll keep everything updated. That way there's a 'central management', if you get what I mean. I'll give everyone who sends drivers proper credit, as it seems that is what you'd like to have. As I said earlier: I've requested a new forum for DriverPack Modem When it's there, we can start the real work.
  8. Well... not going to write an article on that.. at least not now. Because: [1] don't have the time, nor the motivation [2] it's MEANT to be fully automated and if you want to change it you can: a ) do it manually (you can derive ALL information you need from the DriverPacks themselves) b ) study the batch files. And you say you want an easy way to keep your disc updated, right? Well... aren't the batch files good enough to do that? Things get changed, so you'd have to update your program every time...
  9. And did you bother to try with RyanVM's UpdatePack + IPX network protocol MINUS DriverPacks?
  10. @Vid0: what does the %1 to %9 do? And shouldn't it be ? At least that's what google tells me.
  11. Nice one
  12. About the subfolder that's dynamical: you can simply create a temporary subdomain -auatomatically of course - and let it be removed afterwards. On top of that you can encrypt the URI. Would that be enough?
  13. I think when it's the 'big vacation' here (that is from July to August), I will start experimenting with Longhorn Are you sure it isn't documented ANYWHERE?
  14. Article at AnanandTech Summary: 1) one image to rule them all 2) when installing Windows: bye bye DOS, welcome WinPE (EDIT: under the condition that I understood this correctly, IMO the article isn't very clear on this point) I don't know if this has been posted before, but I thought this was rather interesting.
  15. @Vid0: 1) is renamed now, thanks. 2) those files are listed in the SourceDisksFiles of the .inf file, which is why I didn't remove them. But as you said, I could simply edit the .inf file, but that would break the WHQL signing, which I'd rather not do... 3) that commandline... I saw you posting it before, somewhere, never found it back. Where did you get that information from??? 4) Thanks for that driverreport! But I think you modified it ?? Well, I tend to download the driver from the site
  16. Would you guys please post your hwids? Along with the EXACT controller name please. Thank you!
  17. Sorry, can't help you there. But personally I think it's easier to just reinstall your current OS, it would take less time than the research to get it working again...
  18. I think I have it fixed. Please try out the new DriverPacks BASE V5.05 when it's online! @all: I need more HighPoint users to report their hwids!!!
  19. Huh? Beats me... after all you may still be right?! CONGRATULATIONS Again you've proven how Windows sucks I'll remember this one!
  20. You're wrong there, mark49, I made them both refer to the newly added driver From slipstream_DPM.cmd: %T1% "PCI\VEN_105A&DEV_3376~x20" "~x20~qaftx2k~q" %T1% "PCI\VEN_105A&DEV_3373~x20" "~x20~qaftx2k~q"
  21. Will be fixed in DP MassStorage V5.05 and DPs BASE V5.05
  22. OF COURSE that is possible, but that breaks WHQL signing every time
  23. Possible, check the .reg files in the CPanel folder.
  24. I can already confirm... check this FAQ. If that adapter is not present it will give problems. But you seem to have trouble when the adapter IS there?
