Are you sure it needs the Realtek driver? The HWIDs you posted match the ones of the nVidia APU driver... Could you please post the specific hwid for the onboard sound of the ASUS K8N? EDIT: @larciel: could you please also post that HWID? EDIT2: @gilesw: I removed your double post
Eh... nvatabus.sys should not be used for this HWID. I've got the same one (VEN_10DE&DEV_0065). At textmode setup you should let Windows Setup use the atapi driver (is used by default when the HWID above isn't added to txtsetup.sif), the correct driver will get installed AFTER Setup, when Windows first boots. I guess it's simply incompatible... P.S.: this is also why this HWID isn't present in the delivered txtsetup.oem file
Eh... how the f*ck is this possible??? I only added the RAID driver, so that can't be it. The HWID is also present, I checked. Are you VERY SURE you've set the RAID0 array correctly?
I'm afraid you'll have to leave out one part at the time to see what's causing it. So first add nothing, test, add RyanVM's updatepack, test, my DPs, test, WMP10, test. (however WMP10 would be VERY unlikely )
It seems several users of my DriverPacks have reported that, when SetupCopyOEMInf.exe is doing its job, alot of annoying 'not WHQL signed warnings' pop up. I found a way to easily circumvent this: START %DPDIR%\WatchDriverSigningPolicy.exe START /WAIT %DPDIR%\SetupCopyOEMInf.exe %DPDIR% TASKKILL /F /IM WatchDriverSigninPolicy.exe That is: using WatchDriverSigninPolicy.exe to get rid of them! (Thanks again, Pyron )
Nope, it doesn't. I didn't know about this!!! In fact I doubt many of us do. Maybe the RIS users, but... Well, could you make me a list of LAN .sys files that should be overwritten in the I386 dir?
If you only use DP MassStorage, you can use method 1, but if you want to use more DriverPacks, it's recommended to switch to method 2 (because this saves space on your UWXPCD). Don't forget to use the FIX! For more info, check 1. in this topic.
Not yet, still didn't have the time for it. And in the original topic (where someone posted how he did it, as I haven't used BartPE YET), I asked a question for which I NEEDED the answer, but I still haven't had an answer. I'll update this post with the link to that topic.
I've been working all day to get everything fixed, PLUS to get everything (read: everything in the DPs BASE) improved=faster. If everything goes well, V5.05.1 will be online tomorrow. Note: the 'faster' will be thanks to Fedit.exe, written by my good friend djbe, THANKS AGAIN!
1. It seems you were right. RyanVM sent me the newest version, that is 5.1.2600.2637 2. err??? I hope this is fixed with the above... 3. Of course you can. And it's done automatically if you use DP Sound A (M2+M3) or if the D\S\R\HD dir exists (M1).
