I'm in the process of an update at this very moment. It's indeed been a while, but in general, it's been working fine. With the big exception of the nVidia nForce mass storage controllers of course. Recently Silicon Image has released 2 new controllers, so you can expect those drivers in the update too. More news when V5.10 of DriverPack MassStorage has been released

I moved this post from a newly opened topic to this one. I think you can understand that, lcpc. In the file you attached, it seems your HWID has CHANGED? From 'PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3149&SUBSYS_31491106&REV_80' to 'PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3149&SUBSYS_300C1695&REV_80'.... WTF is going on here? :s

In the next update of DriverPack MassStorage, the viaSraid.sys driver will be used for this HWID (PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3149&SUBSYS_31491106&REV_80), since the viaMraid.sys driver doesn't seem to be working for everyone. Please post your reports when you've had the chance to test DriverPack MassStorage V5.10!

I'm working on the update of DriverPack MassStorage, in which the SiI 3112 driver will also get an update. It's possible that this driver update fixes your problem! You can expect the updated version to be online this weekend.

Here you can easily find the Application Switches you need!

I think you'd better try VoYaGeRTM1977's suggestion, since everything *should* be working as it is now, and I don't have any better idea what I could do to fix it...

Hmm... For some reason the automatical redirect to http://www.driverpacks.net/DriverPacks.xml doesn't work anymore... It DID work... And the setting is still applied correctly, which means it must be a bug in CPanel (which has been updated on my host). I'll report that, thank you!

That would be too complex. Too much work for me - without saying a RIDICULOUS amount of work. That won't be possible - for now.

I'm from Belgium, Laurens, so I do speak Dutch (btw, 'programme' is only used in British English ) As for the problem: I think you've done something strange with your registry or cmd.exe, since you're the first one to have (report) this problem. Any chance you deleted the devcon.exe file that was in the same dir as the .cmd file, after you extracted the archive (.zip file)? EDIT: Forgot to say this: currently I'll focus on the DriverPacks themselves, and not on this one problem. But please keep on posting HWIDs, I cannot receive enough of them!

BeenThereB4 is correct, that's the easiest solution in this case, since you do not seem to be using the OemPnPDriversPath! (Disabling OemPreInstall obviously disables copying the contents of the $OEM$ folder to the HDD.

Huh? Where do you see that '$$\Drivers\...'? The way you explain you did it, it should work just fine!

Please post the HWID of your VT8237 mass storage controller. You can find it, using the tool from my signature. Could you tell me which driver you are using (viaMraid.sys or viaSraid.sys and the version)?

Are you sure the driver has been installed?

Read section #1 of the sticky: there you can find links to some tutorials that explain you how to slipstream mass storage drivers into your UWXPCD: that way you won't have to use a floppydisk anymore at all!

Did you use the correct driver? And if you did, did you use one (the latest probably) that supports your device?

Probably you've got spaces in your path.
