  1. Try my driverpack! link to topic: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=19174&st=0
  2. Follow the guide that can be found at http://unattended.msfn.org, in the section "Device Drivers". If you still have problems after that, re-post your problem and be more specific!
  3. Remove those backslashes (\) : [Unattended] OemPnPDriversPath="drivers\000_mobo;drivers\001_network;drivers\002_audio;drivers\003_video" And indeed add quotations ("...")
  4. Where did you get this copy? As I'd like to have one too!
  5. NedStat is what I use. Very easy! But: no counter: there's a small image that links to the stats page of your website
  6. I've been searching for this too, but I too couldn't figure it out... I'd also like to know if someone can tell us...
  7. If there's an inf file in those folders, Windows will find it and correctly install the required drivers! By the way: welcome!
  8. Samsung is added About configuring cards: I knew that and I also prefer to do it manually I'll download the drivers myself, so I can be sure they're up-to-date!
  9. Don't buy a Audigy ZS, it's waste of money, especially when you're looking for a budget pc. Why don't go AMD? Alot better prices for equal performance! Buy a mobile Athlon XP cpu and a decent aircooler. Choose a nForce2 Ultra motherboard with Soundstorm and you won't need your Audigy ZS anymore! I'd recommend a 9800 pro 256 bit, they also overclock nice. All this will cost alot less than the setup you mentioned!
  10. Have you googled for it? 1. Look for strange process names in task manager and end them. Let's say it's called "mysearch.exe" 2. Open regedit and look for "mysearch" and delete all entries with "mysearch" in it. 3. Open the Run-window and type "msconfig" (without the quotes) and delete in the boot-section (don't know if it's called like that in English) any programs that don't need to be booted (which most of the time also contains this malicious program) 4. Use the search function to search your harddisk for files containing "mysearch" like this: "*mysearch*" (again: without the quotes) and delete them. Now it should be fixed!
  11. That's right - that's where it goes. Remember, simply disabling IE alone is no help. OE uses (large chunks of) the same engine that IE does, and is an even bigger security hole than the browser. I'd say disable IE, and OE as well - there's enough numbers of alternatives available. To everything: that's correct! Try the combination FireFox and ThunderBird, it works great !
  12. All added... But what a list Never heard of the most of them.... I'll ask your help when I need it, thanks for the offer
  13. @Swgreed & nws: your requests have been added and thank you for providing me with download links!
  14. Try to figure out what installer it is using. Take a look at http://unattended.msfn.org. Or, if you're lucky, you can find the solution with google.
  15. I'll consider it, but it won't be for soon, I've got already enough to do (also IRL)
  16. I can only confirm what SolidasRock said: I've tried it too, I've succesfully done it and it gives nothing but trouble! Just set in your winnt.sif not to install shortcuts too IE and install your favorite browser.
  17. I see... Interesting, but I don't like it. If everyone would use this, people would be too lazy to post their comments in this topic. And that's exactly what's needed to get it error-free... You know what I'm saying?
  18. wget? never heard of... And I think it isn't such a great effort to regularly visit these topics at msfn.org, is it? Perhaps another solution is a mailing list to which you can subscribe which warns you when there's an updated version?
  19. And monitors/chipsets/... Video cards are the hardest of them all I think, especially because of those awful ATI Catalyst drivers... But I can't do them all...( I think that would become a (almost) fulltime job!!)
  20. don't know But I definetely need these ones, which is the main reason why I've made them...
  21. I might do so. Contact me to share the list of drivers for modems and dsl/isdn cards you have. P.S.: your requests are added
  22. I know my English isn't that good... Perhaps there's a certain 'tone' in my reply that makes it look negative? Well, I didn't mean it that way... I simply ask GreenMachine to specify the manufacturers because I want to download the newest drivers myself, so I can be 100% certain they are up-to-date. No offense!
  23. @Nologic, BAM: requests added!
  24. Microsoft? And I've never heard of Proxim... Added to the list! EDIT: Does 3com also make wireless things? Didn't know of that either... You requested support for WiFi USB dongles and PCMCIA cards, but could you please be more specific? I mean: please specify manufacturers (cause there are so many of them and perhaps you know some I don't know...)
  25. I guess there's a killer-virus down there???
