  1. Forgot to say: Realtek Gigabit is also already included.
  2. Of course! Intel Gigabit drivers are already included btw... If you need another manufacturer's Gigabit drivers, tell me which one!
  3. Updated 13 Feb 05 DriverPack WLAN V5.02 Download!
  4. Updated 13 Feb 05 DriverPack LAN V5.02 Download!
  5. Do you mean Creative's audio drivers? Cause your question is not so clear to me...
  6. I'm back in business What I've done so far: -updated the Realtek drivers -removed the typo's most important to do: - try to fix the audigy cpl problem - add Terratec Fun drivers (not too much work) [DONE] any other urgent requests? EDIT: I've been searching what's wrong and what's right with the Audigy drivers fore about 45 min now... And I think I've got two possibilities: 1) figure out where each file goes when using the regular installer and edit the inf file so it installs everything in the exact same way 2) let Windows Setup partly install the Audigy drivers and later, at GUIRunOnce or RunOnceEx silently launch the regular installer Both are difficult, each with its own advantages: 1)+ smaller size - ALOT of work to figure everything out 2) - bigger size + no work at all IF I'd know the switches, and there are no switches at all, which makes option n° 2 impossible... (if anyone knows the CTZAPXX.exe switch, let me know!) EDIT 2: does anyone know these files are for? Please let me know, cause it takes alot of space! (CTDV10K1.CDF, CTDV10K2.CDF and CTDVaudy.CDF take together 11.4 MegaBytes!)
  7. And even more delays: I won't have internet access the coming week... nor PC access!!! So I won't be able to update the pack... grtz
  8. Thank you for your comments, GekkeHenkie (cool nickname btw ) And of course it needs work! I'm not a pro, you know... And it's not that easy either, too bad all companies don't make their drivers compatible with unattended installations... Then I wouldn't have that much work with it... I'll try to fix everything asap, but I don't have much time... EDIT: the FireWire ports SHOULD work, as there's built-in support for it in Windows XP!
  9. The whole purpose of this is being useful in an unattended installation!!! Download it and read the instructions and if you then still have some questions, ask away!
  10. Yes, of course I wanted to know. As there are alot of replies the last few days, I'll try to make some time again for this driverpack (been busy last days)... All your feedback is welcome!
  11. Thank you for your help! My contact info is in my profile About those posts above: put them all together in 1 post, I'll ask a mod to remove them
  12. @my2001 and/or prathapml: could you plz post those .reg tweaks? That would definetely save other people (incl. me ) some time!
  13. No, I haven't got any hard feelings. But those stupid QUOTES where the problem!!! Windows DIDN'T add them for me, as I edited some shortcuts... Now with those quotes it works! Thank you guys for clearing this out for me and sorry for making twice such a huge mistake....
  14. To all of your questions: yes. BUT, I repeat: I don't know if this is true for all XP's components.
  15. Thank you for testing, and telling me your problems with it! Users like you is exactly what I need: you gave me some info with which I can improve the pack. This mixer file etc., you mean the Creative add-on programs I guess? Well they SHOULD work, as it worked over here... I'll see what I can do about it.
  16. %PROGRAMFILES% works too. target: %PROGRAMFILES%\Mozilla\Firefox\firefox.exe Start in: %PROGRAMFILES%\Mozilla\Firefox WTF over here it DIDN'T work!!!!!!!!! Well then I should be glad cause then one of my problems *would* be solved...
  17. Thank you So it worked with you! Could you please specify which sound card(s) it worked on?
  18. Au contraire, mon chere ... I hate to contradict you ... but %SYSTEMDRIVE% in the shortcut target has always worked for me ... Here is the target directory from a desktop shortcut: %systemdrive%\Windows\regedit.exe(cut and pasted) Well... I guess I was wrong then... But %programfiles% definetely does NOT work!!! I guess that's why I thought %systemdrive% wouldn't work either....
  19. Perhaps you guys could upload your .iss files to msfn instead of copying the entire file to a post, cause right now it looks a bit messy...
  20. NO! It will be invisible to _everyone_. Invisible in this case is: no shortcuts point to them. So they aren't actually _removed_, because some of them are necessary (e.g. Internet Explorer for Windows Update) or some components of them are necessary (e.g. Outlook Express has some files that are also needed for Outlook). However, I don't know if this is true for all XP's components.
  21. I'd recommend $1\Drivers. But If you really want to use the Windows folder: I think it should be Windows; windows with a capital w....
  22. @jrzycrim: That's NOT possible! Just give it a try... here is this shortcut.exe: Shortcut.zip
  23. @radial: I also think it should work. You could try to rename it to .bat and then retry it, this might help in your case. The reason? Somewhere on this forum it's explained.... @MCT: That's not what radial wants... That way settings aren't applied to ALL users... EDIT: this is what MCT exactly meant: http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/hkcu_registry.htm
