  1. I've found some errors in the Dutch translation, some grammatical 1. lblTimerTitle[lang] = ['De installatie zal starten in']; => lblTimerTitle[lang] = ['De installatie start over']; (because: 'starten in' does not exist) 2. ttInstall[lang] = ['Start installatie','Klik hier om geselecteerde programma\'s te installeren.']; => ttInstall[lang] = ['Start installatie','Klik hier om de geselecteerde programma\'s te installeren.']; (missing "de") 3. ttHelp[lang] = ['Help','Toon basisinformatie over het gebruik, versie en gebruiksovereenkomst']; => ttHelp[lang] = ['Help','Displays basic usage, version information, and disclaimer.']; (not everything was translated) 4. txtUsage[lang] = ['Start Installatie - Installeert de geselecteerde programma\'s.\nStandaard selecteren - Selecteert alleen de aanbevolen programma\'s.\nAlles selecteren - Selecteert alle beschikbare programma\'s.\nNiets selecteren - Wist alle selecties.\n\nOpties - WPI Optiemenu oproepen.\nConfiguratie - Programmalijst configureren.\n\nAfsluiten - Sluit de WPI zonder programma\'s te installeren.']; => txtUsage[lang] = ['Start Installatie - Installeert de geselecteerde programma\'s.\nStandaard selecteren - Selecteert alleen de aanbevolen programma\'s.\nAlles selecteren - Selecteert alle beschikbare programma\'s.\nNiets selecteren - Wist alle selecties.\n\nOpties - WPI Optiemenu oproepen.\nConfiguratie - Programmalijst configureren.\n\nAfsluiten - Sluit WPI zonder programma\'s te installeren.']; ("de" not in place here) Please don't get angry with me for these corrections... But the way it was, it just didn't sound...
  2. A gap of 6 months there but ... And you were installing Windows on a system with what monitor attached? Did you include the monitor's .inf file?
  3. Damned! I replaced the readme's of the DriverPacks by the original, uninfected ones. But I forgot to replace those files... :'( I'll fix it immediately! EDIT: fixed!
  4. And which link do you mean by that? Searched for it, but can't find it...
  5. I see So in these registry keys I can find everything that also would be inside the ntuser.dat file?
  6. The absence of these last things isn't unbelievable IMO... As you said, you can find alot of home deployment here, which means most of people around here are using unattended windows for personal use... And I guess most people don't have a server around in their house But if you would mail me some links about those last things, I'd be very grateful!
  7. Offtopic: I don't want WMP10 It SUCKS Just gimme iTunes + VLC/ZoomPlayer/ShowTime
  8. Wow! Could you please post a list of all other options you remember? What's IndexCatalog? For what kind of company are you working?
  9. Well, in emergency cases I'll violate that policy... The same for the SiI3112 drivers: the newest ones are only available at Windows Update! This is also the case for the Marvell Yukon drivers (once). But I'll follow your advice and download that app from MS and run it. EDIT: tried, but without sucess... you really must have at least one or multiple devices connected I think.
  10. You could place these files is My documents and prohibit other users from viewing your files by setting a password and selecting that option. Or you could make a folder anywhere, enable the security tab at folder options, right-click this folder, go to the newly available tab Security, and choose permissions. EDIT: welcome to the MSFN forums!
  11. And where did you get that MVP documentation from? I'm really interested
  12. This is indeed one of the differences between a network installation and a regular installation from CD/DVD.
  13. svcpack.in_ does not have to be there if he has edited it and saved it as svcpack.inf! Did you reduce size of source?
  14. WTF !!!!!! Where did you get that from? Never ever seen that one before!
  15. Impossible. Then you haven't named the $OEM$ folders correctly.
  16. I can't be certain about that. But I can't use the utility MS provides either. As I've read on their website, this utility checks what controller you have installed on your system and downloads the correct drivers. Because I dont have a MS network controller, I simply can't download their drivers... So it will depend on you guys: you have to send me newer drivers.
  17. *VERY* nice!!!
  18. Oh, I see Never read much about that method...
  19. I've always used GUIRunOnce like this, and it always worked fine: Command0=%systemdrive%\Install\Drivers.cmd Command1=.... Also, you should add you computername instead of using an asterisk I think.
  20. When I search for "HIVESDEF.INF" 365 days ago and older, I find nothing. However, if I change it to any date, this topic shows up. There was some kind of topic of Numinous which had some info concerning this, and there it worked!
  21. HIVEDEF.INF is not fully reliable to set default settings because the XP setup overwrite many of them. BTW, I made a batch for that few weeks ago. It change reg settings for all users (even already existing account). REGWIDE Are you sure about that? I would consider that very strange, as people are also editing their HIVESFT.INF without any problem...
  22. @rgreen83: I'm afraid there's another method! batman75 uploaded the MSBN CD to my ftp, which includes all the drivers! And I've got to admit, MS has the best (cleanest) drivers of all of them!
  23. Which is? You *could* have some trouble with different versions of the Windows Installer, but every app that uses it normally includes the update for it...
  24. Hi, joint79, and welcome at the MSFN forums! It's clearly explained in the guide So you'll need: [UserData] FullName="joint79"
  25. It's indeed something like that! Darn, saw it somewhere a week or so ago... Trying to find it back.... EDIT: So you need everything after X:\, so after the third character. Then I guess it would be %variable:~0,3%
