  1. Hello everyone. Here's my problem. I recently upgraded my HD from an 8GB to a 30 GB I also upgraded from 98 to 98SE and every since I get errors all the time. I am not sure if the other components in the computer can not handle the size of the HD or if the SE is the cause. My system is as follows IBM Aptiva Series 500 (The model is 2158 500) AMD K6-2/400 processor 100 MHZ front side bus 96 MB RAM (expandable to 256) 4x DVD ROM Video card: ATI 3D Rage Pro In leiu of the error messages I get anything from "Windows Protection Error" to "Explorer caused an invalid page fault in module" (these vary) but one is OLEAUT.DLL Upon my searches I have come across things from it being a BIOS problem, to heat problems, driver upgrades (which I'm sure I need but do not know where/what I need). I'll stop here and see if anyone can help me and if I've left out any further information that may be needed just let me know and I'll gladly provide it. :-) Thanks!
