  1. Can you now copy files OK?
  2. I really don't know what to say, but x64 drivers for XP are a PITA to find sometimes, not to speak about x64 Vista...
  3. Have you replaced the ntoskrnl file?
  4. Welcome to msfn! It is possible to partition the drive using either PartitionMagic or Acronis Disk Director.
  5. Hello and welcome to msfn! The only way to get features back on the installation disk is to re-nlite windows LEAVING the features you want.

Agreed, but UT2004 setup package fits onto a DVD, whereas this game's setup package is only ~75Mb
  7. What chipset drives your onboard graphics card and how much RAM is allocated to it?
  8. Well, I've used both ATI and nVidia cards in the past and found ATI Catalyst a bit of a PITA. I really don't know what to say, but if I were you, I'd go for the nVidia card.
  9. XP drivers DO work under w2k3. I have a 6600GT and used the XP drivers which worked flawlessly. The only catch is that you have to install the drivers manually, from Device Manager.
  10. First off I'd check the LAN for malware / spyware. Second, this post should be under the Networking thread. Third, use TCPView to see what is going on your LAN.
  11. Oh bugger!
  12. Booo @ IE. FF all the way, baby!

It's ok, same idea as quake 3 arena but lower graphic details.
  15. 200 GIG's and you didn't partition your drive?
  16. Right click on desktop ---> Properties ---> Screensaver ---> Power
  17. Sounds like a graphic card driver issue.
  18. I'd recommend you to save your data onto some dvd's, go for a full format and partition your drive. How big is your hard drive?
  19. I'm using a TEAC mp3 player (512Mb). Works just fine and I only use it when I go out for a spin with my motorcycle. Plus, I don't need any third application to copy the files onto it, just Windows built-in explorer (but TBH I use TotalCommander )
  20. And it was about bl**dy time!
  21. You're welcome!
  22. Good point!
  23. For copying files I use TotalCommander.
  24. I second that. PS: Aegis, you spelled getting with 3 t's
  25. You can't nlite an existing installation of windows. It is written to modify the contents of the setup package, giving you the choice of what to have installed and what not and also lets you add hotfixes, add-ons, etc. Therefore you can't install a nlited windows on the same partition with an existing windows already present (by default, windows will install in a different folder should one named Windows exists on the target partition). You can try to install it on a different partition if you don't want to format the existing installation.
