ran WU today and found 816093 Update. I take it that it is a new one as well?
-
Glad to here u have it working now. 1) 837272 did u get the right one now? 2) have not had this one come up before i'll have to look into it. 3) goes in SVC-MSX ok?
-
1) the list on the site (I help GM with it) 2) should be, but at the time I did mine I was not aware of the auto-dl so I did it manually. 3) I did have it auto when I 1st started then I trurned it off do to so many new update and GM had not have time to update the list i did not want to keep getting the old ones. when xpcreat is 1st run it should create all the folders for u then u put in your stuff (like the OEM) and run it again and away it went.
-
the auto-dl list might not be up to date if some are missing dl them manually. I run XPC with my 2000 already on the hd. For the IE6 dl the util from here: http://greenmachine.msfnhosting.com/XPCREATE/download.htm I hope this helps if not let me know. here is mine

I just ran this test with all of the above and it worked find the only thing I did not have in was SVC-QCH => Q815062_W2K_spl_X86_EN.exe dose it have to be there too? my xp wu=0.

I tested this with 2000 and it worked

great thanks for the added info: this file will be placed at the SVC-POS folder (replacing the old OE6.0sp1-KB837009-x86-ENU.exe file): IE6.0sp1-KB823353-x86-ENU.exe i'll give it a try latter. (i've been installing with both of them there) as for msn mess i have been using 6.1 not 4.7 that why i ignor it. xpcreate use to install the 6.1 for me instead of the 4.7 just by replacing it but it don't work that way now so i just install it from runonce instead.
-
thoughs are the new updates for xp that came out this mouth. GM has not done anything with them yet something to do with a vacation the Windows Messenger 4.7 i usually ignor for i don't install it. KB823353 -> SCV-POS KB870669 -> SVC-HF2 KB840315 -> SVC-HF1 KB842773 -> SVC-HF1 KB841873 -> SVC-HF1 KB839645 -> SVC-HF1 KB817778 -> SVC-HF1 i have not test this yet but it worked for my 2000 cd. i'll get back to u by the weekend with my test results. i the mean time try it your self and let me know if it worked for u.
-
@aaron u are right xpcreate don't like spaces @souka take the space out of ur dir name and change it in the xpcreate.ini file and it should run though with no prob. i did this error my self after the correction everything was fine.
-
I tyied it with my 2000 and it work for me too
-
ok thanks i'll get the updated version. swflash has been droped! i had no intention of changing any code and could not believe someone would even jugest that. the last thing i would want to do is upset u, cause i like to ask a programing favor latter when u are not too busy. i'll send a private message latter about it much latter if u are intrested.

I tried swflash.cab with the 27-APR-2004 and 24-MAR-2004 and got this error: -- 15:09:51 --> Repacking any MSI installers. -- 15:09:51 --> Repacking dotnetfx.exe -- 15:10:53 --> Repacking SETUP.EXE -- 15:11:09 --> Updating Macromedia Flash.
