  1. Hello again, I can build my CD's just great now.... only missing two critical updates (VM And Dx9 patch). One thing I'd like do still however..... Integrate the serial number into my XP Pro CD. (my serial# is part of a MS-Select license, so I can be used over and over again.). My goal is to help the IS staff at branch locations..... some have a hard time reading, and typing, the 25 character serial correctly. Any suggestions? thanks!
  2. Great to hear! I had to set READ-ONLY because if I didn't, it removed the file and then would error.
  3. Some comments from a Dev Team member was that the Flash will be left out of the next update list. Why? It isn't a critical update, nor is it even a download from MS-Update.... and because so many people are having problems. I got around this two ways. 1st: After downloading all the updates, and failing during the flash update, change the DLAUTO to NO (found in the XPCREATE.INI. Now you can continue. 2nd: Manually download SWFLASH.CAB and place into the SVC-SWF folder. Change permissions on file to READ ONLY. Now you can continue. Hope this helps..... this is my first post in an attempt TO help instead of ASKING for help! Souka

OK.... I can do everything but BOOT from my CD. So.... how do I create/get the BOOTIMGFILE (XPCTBOOT.BIN)??????
  5. Souka replied to Souka's topic in XPCREATE
Failed. reworked ini file.....but not sure of some of the values.[XPCREATE] BOOTIMGFILE=C:\temp\XPCreate\XPiso.iso (this is an ISO of an XP CD I have....but I"m not confident of what it should be. XPISO=c:\temp\XPCreate\XPCREATE.ISO (Hope to create this ISO using XPCreate) XPSOURCE=C:\temp\XP-CD (This is the entire XP CD copied to my local HD) The BOOTIMGFILE is my biggest concern......... but then again, I"m still getting the ISO failed message. Suggestions?

I'm sure the answer to my question has been asked before, but I sure can't find it. I get the following error during the process.....-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- 14:38:06 -- Create an ISO image -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The system cannot find the file specified. In the XPCREATE.ini file the following settings are: BOOTIMGFILE=C:\temp\XP Create\XPiso.iso CDBURNER=E: XPISO=XPCREATE.ISO XPSOURCE=D: Drive E: has blank CD Drive D: has my current XP bootable CD
