Did the Notepad from WinME have the same problem as Win98SE?

This package needs to be updated and all obselete files should be removed. Thanks

This stuff has been going on for years if M$ hasn't sued them all this time i don't think they will. M$ might see it as a threat if these ladies & gentlemen profit from it, but they don't and neither do M$ So that means if the people recieve millions in donation M$ probably would sue. I myself will donate in the future once these projects are @ they final release because people tend to leave things unfinished and i don't pay for half stepping.But i do appreciate these people with the utmost respect and they hard work.

@ Eck you should always install 98SE2XP/98SEMP10 last after 98SE2ME Also when ever you update one of these packages you must uninstall in order for things to work good.It worked for me and i just finish a clean install

I have to say Notepad2 is great i didn't like the 2 so i removed them all with resource hacker.Now i have a Notepad.exe Pfe.exe is great too but its for advance users i only use it as a notepad the other stuff is out of my league. Now i'm debating on the both because they are both advanced and i only use it as a notepad.exe to make reg files etc... I guess there will never be no basic notepad.exe here is the old one that was fixed by someone on the forum http://www.mdgx.com/files/NPUPDW98.EXE it just needs it icon change to the one from WinXP

Heres what i mean i'm running Win98SE on fat32 which is fine i wanna connect a ntfs hard drive and convert it to fat32 and connect a fat32 drive and convert to ntfs meaning i wanna be able to flip flop at will how do i get this support?

When i install Unofficial DCOM98 Update Full do i need to install any other updates for dcom98 or this cover all the updates Heres a suggestion Packages like Dcom98.exe/KB917344 etc... why don't you replace the obselete files and repackage with the newer files it avoids installing like 6 different updates. Its easier just to install one package with updated files kind of like how u did Q329048 eliminating obselete packages, files and updates thanks. I also forgot about 908519/908519fx Mdac 2.8 sp1/Window Media Player 9 one nice update will be great instead of numerous packages please consider. last but not least i have Dunzip32.dll/Dzip32.dll Version 5.0.0.8 can you update Q329048?

I read through this forum topic and i'm really not sure but i know i need a tool that will convert fat32 to Ntfs vice versa I am not converting my Win98SE fat32 drive to Ntfs but i do need the conversion support for others hard drives that will be connected can one recommend a small lite tool with a big impact?

1. I would like to change my MS Dos prompt/Command Prompt icon to the cmd.exe from WinXP 2.I would like to create 2 new folders with specific icons a Movie icon/Movie folder - Music icon/Music folder without creating shortcuts 3.Is there a way to stop the internet games from advertising 4.Is there a way to get WinXP toolbar icons on my Win98SE toolbar without installing a package. 5.I had change my Windows USER.exe icon for the start button but it is still the same.Whats wrong?

Crap cleaner is limited and so is 98lite even if i did used 98lite/crapcleaner after all updates and patches what purpose has it served it don't delete duplicate files after installation etc... it don't delete orphan reg keys etc... as i stated before i would like all this without a 3rd party app. A skilled person can do all this with a batch/script file now do you get my point example their are a unicows.dll in the Windows media player folder and the same file is in the system folder i'm not sure if i'm suppose to delete the one in the WMP folder.

Windows 9x has alot of unecessary files that i would rather not have on my machine for example duplicate files why is this? and the list goes on and people are keep suggesting that i use 98lite.Ummm because i don't wanna have to install a program to get rid of a program it defeats the whole purpose so i ask to you guru's out there can 1 create a batch/script to cleanup/delete all unecessary files and bitmaps etc... anything that is useless and serve no purpose.This is what we have pure dos for P.S I already know about Mindows but after you update your system with patches/updates Mindows has served no purpose because you still have duplicate files 0 byte folders etc... This should be applied after all updates/patches

Nonsense. It's not like your PC or OS will suddenly die when those people quit, nor will it suddenly lose all the existing functionality. i meant unofficial patches, as far as i know these are the only ones i know who make unofficial patches for Win98/SE/ME and are consistent with it once they quit its over with like i said before

I'm about tired of Win98SE too its getting old now i just got my Win2000 professional cd i haven't installed it but i will soon.It seem like the only ones who's keeping Win98SE alive is Petr, LLXX, erpdude8, the guy, MDGx, soporific, jimmsta. And once these guys and gal quit its over with because most people don't have the drive and ambition these people have. People wanna keep Win98 alive then finished these abandoned packages these so called Win98 lovers left if not stop crying and upgrade your system and move on because life will with or without you.

Anyone know how to slim down Shockwave Player 10.1.4.20 without the google stuff also to allow it to install unattended without accessing the internet after installation

Small request bout the Internet games can you place the shortcuts in the Games folder with the rest of the games instead of having a seperate shortcut folder.

I had a cold and a flu several days ago but now I'm feeling better unofficial U918547 patch from MDGx site has KB918547.exe & Q918547.dll version 4.10.2226 < created by "anonymous" person I ditched Microsoft's KB918547 fix and the previous U918547 patch that has the KB918547.exe & Q918547.dll files because they're replaced by a newer 918547 patch that has newer GDI.EXE & GDI32.DLL files that provide the same fixes as previous 918547 updates. And what about adding the KB918547 fix INF to the latest version Q918547

Q920213 do not install correctly it searches for the AGENTDP2.DLL file and can't find it.
