  3. this is really strange. the HDAudio, the directX and the USBport drivers cause the issues: Interrupt Info -------------------------- CPU Usage Summing By Module For the Whole Trace CPU Usage from 0 us to 33500000 us: CPU 0 Usage, CPU 1 Usage, usec %, usec %, Module 5470720 16.33, 0 0.00, HDAudBus.sys 5824632 17.39, 0 0.00, USBPORT.SYS 3921832 11.71, 0 0.00, dxgkrnl.sys you use several other USB devices (Generic USB MS/CF/SM/SD Reader USB Device). Can you disable them and check it again? Also does it happen when you disable AVG? the IDSFilter.Sys driver calls some USB functions. Also do you use the latest drivers for your graphic card ( Intel® 82945G Express Chipset)?

  13. the IP Helper service from Windows causes the high CPU usage (91.11%). Update the Atheros AR9285 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter and Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller drivers first and if this doesn't solve it, stop the service.
  14. run the xperf trace and upload the zipped trace to mediafire.com

  16. I also read that RAM size + 1MB for the Header in the Internal book from Mark and added a few MB. You can also add a registry key to ignore the pagefile size: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949052 @cluberti is there an official document which shows the required size?
  17. the pagefile is too small. Set it to 4300MB to be safe.
  18. How much RAM do you have? increase the pagefile size so that the dump is created.
  19. do you have a different CPU to test? Which GPU do you use?
  20. zip the dump into 50MB parts and upload it to your public SkyDrive if you use a LiveID.
  21. I have no idea. Maybe cluberti knows something more.
