  1. ok, run the installer from here: http://www.duplexsecure.com/downloads/ and select "uninstall" to remove the driver. Reboot and make a new trace.
  2. same was in Vista, too. I don't know why this happens. Apply the script from the KB article.
  3. do you use Daemon Tools? The SPTD driver is also shown as UNKNOWN.
  4. connect the HDDs to a different SATA port and try new SATA cables. If both doesn't work, do the old CleanBoot approach to see if 3rd party tools/drivers/services cause the issue.
  5. You're welcome. Enjoy your faster hibernation experience
  6. I can see at 14% that the chipset drivers are configured (mshdc.inf) and next the pending.xml is used to do the pending operations. You interrupted it after 11minutes: 2011-04-19 07:40:57, Info CBS Progress: UI message updated. Operation type: Service Pack. Stage: 1 out of 1. Percent progress: 15. 2011-04-19 07:51:41, Info CBS Starting TrustedInstaller initialization. wait longer.
  7. I never seen this before that you had to install .Net 4.0 to get Sp1 working.
  8. this also happened after Vista Sp1. Run the script to stop it.
  9. you entered the safe mode during installation of Updates: 2011-04-19 07:55:35, Error CBS Startup: SafeMode: Safemode entered while needing to process Primitives, rolling back and cancelling the transaction. [HRESULT = 0x80004005 - E_FAIL] this is not allowed. Why have you done this?
  10. it is complicated to figure out what causes the issue. Check if your Motherboard and HDD support AHCI.
  11. the group policies take too long: the GP start at 37s and end at 84.2s. So this is the cause of a longer delay. Also starting all services takes very long: <services autoStartStartTime="32082" autoStartEndTime="86115" autoStartDuration="54033"> reduce the loaded services and applications and check the group policies.
  12. - <resumedevices start="130558281" duration="71321941"> - <device start="130558320" duration="70936117" name="ACPI_HAL\PNP0C08\0"> <driver start="130558323" duration="70936109" name="\Driver\ACPI" /> <driver start="201494434" duration="2" name="\Driver\ACPI_HAL" /> </device> Resuming the ACPI driver is slow and takes 71seconds. Update the BIOS, load the default BIOS settings and try it again.
  13. UNKNOWN is shown as cause for high Interrupt (ISR) cause. I can see that the HDD is busy and a lot of events are lost. So you should check the HDD for errors, also check the cable and make sure you use AHCI.
  14. "Unknown (0x0)" is the Superfetch prefetcher. <notification type="Logon" sessionId="1" startTime="57698" endTime="78834" duration="21135"> <subscriber name="Profiles" startTime="57698" endTime="78106" duration="20407" /> you have a 20s delay in logon to the PC. Is the PC domain joined? also the ExplorerInit and PostBoot is slow. How many tools do you start at boot? reduce them with AutoRuns. Also zip and upload the ETL.
  15. Please run the Windows Explorer and go to the folder "C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\" and copy all files to your document folder, also copy the setupapi.dev.log from the folder C:\Windows\Inf, the "C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log" and the file "C:\Windows\winsxs\poqexec.log" to your document folder (otherwise you can't upload it), zip all files into 1 ZIP and upload the zip to mediafire.com and post a link here.
  16. copy the ETL to your document folder or desktop to zip it there.
  17. no, this "update" is required if you have issues installing other Windows Updates or changing WindowsFeatures in the Control panel.
  18. you installed the Update KB2510206 which contains LDR and GDR versions. If you don't want the files, remove the update 8which fixes an issue you don't have http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2510206
  19. open it with Anolis.resourcer and extract the picture and replace the bitmap from your XP Sp3 Kernel.
  20. there is no difference in the themes. Run UxStyle service to patch the Uxtheme files in Memory. bootscreens are problematically because they change the NT kernel file.
