Just make a crapload of 7zip or Winrar sfx files that point to where you want the individual game to go and have WPI configured for each individual file. Would be easy to do just time consuming.

I honestly don't know what the prob is but there others who are usually on later that can help. This prog is EXACTLY what you are wanting just give it a little more patience. Also for giggles try running just the WPI.hta file first.

No you are right it is a stand alone interface for installing programs with a chain-like-effect. You run it first and then add in the stuff you want it to install and either keep it separately or put it together with your XP installation disk.

After that error I would try a new download sounds like the file may have been corrupted. Also what is your resolution set at?

Anyone know how to make WPI set the resolution automatically during startup?

You actually have to find a service in the system32 folder called mshta and run it with that service.

If you want it silent without any windows open this with winrar and change the line where it says: silent=2 to silent=1

There are many tools out there in the wide world... Like tweaknow powerpack, system mechanic or if you are just lookin for a startup manager mike lin created a lovely little too called startup control panel. Here is a pre-made silent installer of it just double click and then open your control panel, it will be in there.

That was my back-up the most recent hard back-up I had was 2 months old a lot of work was done in that time. It is all okay though I got it recovered.

How would I go about putting the drivers.cab pack in uncompressed or compressed with almost no compression for quicker setup?? Would this work? I have like 320 megs of space to use. I want to make setup much quicker and my disk is used on multiple systems for both new install and recovery, up-grade reinstalls and nlite was only used to merge driver cabs...

Besides my WPI disk is 600 megs and I don't have a DVD burner.

Personally I prefer to run WPI AFTER Windows is fully installed.
