  1. http://www.msfn.org/board/REAL_xp_sp3_pre_...te_t102547.html Here is the ongoing discussion on SP3. The newest news is that it is supposed to include WMP11 and IE7 and should actually be release nearer to the first of the year.
  2. Decesion stands argument over [/closed]
  3. Without the oembios files from your original disks it would never work the way you are wanting it to. It is the same as asking "I lost my original disk, but I have the the key is it ok to download a copy?" Sorry but illegal is illegal.
  4. nite is NOT open source!!!
  5. NEO You definatly know better than to post workarounds like that here! Onelovekir that is illegal and against rule #1 You both have been warned.
  6. First off this thread has NOTHING to do with Vista, Vlite or Nlite (Except for being an nLite addon)!!! Don't hijack threads. nLite is not for Vista, Vlite is. Start a thread over there. XP nlited will always be faster on that machine than vLited Vista...
  7. Thanks for the information. But we already are fully aware of it. Since 98 is actually no longer supported by MS we a fairly sure that the 98 projects are pretty safe and should be around for a looooong time.
  8. Actually the easiest way would be to follow the same steps you followed to make it and just make the changes where needed.
  9. Sorry but it works for me in IE7. http://www.vizeos.net
  10. Print it, Fill it in, Scan it then resend it.

  12. blah.exe = 1,,,,,,,45,0,0 yeah the number is right sorry about that. the _x part means that windows can find it uncompressed in the i386 folder. Try leaving that part out and compressing your file pre setup as a cab file.
  13. 1,,,,,,_x,45,0,0 <-- Your numbers are most likely wrong. Where are you copying the file too?
  14. Simply copy the contents of your Vista DVD to your harddrive, Add your WPI folder, Add the sources folder, Then burn as a bootable image with whatever software you chooose to do that with.
  15. Ok I will set up a small test setup for 98 and see what I get tonight.
  16. OK OK Lets get serious here which exact version of wpi are you using? I will boot up 98 and kick it around.
  17. It honestly really could be either. Monitors USSUALLY give warning before doing weird s*** like that though.
  18. Did you use a crack?
  19. All of that can easily be found in the tips and tweaks section by searching. The mmc error was ussually caused by a conflict between xpize and a windows update but that was fixed LONG ago.
  20. Cab you attach your generate.js and config.js? I cant seem to copy those over into any usefull format they just get all bunched over when I copy them into notepad2.
  21. No can do the files and entries simply arent there. You will have to re-install.

  23. WFLP anyone? Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PC's would definatly be worth it on that PC. (If you could find a copy of course)
