  1. Are you saying you have a partial os on one drive or 2 os'es installed? Your error has to be due to the fact that both partitions have active bits of windows in them. The best bet in your case is a total reformat...
  2. HEY A BAT FILE?!?!?! Care to share?? PLEASE. Yeas there are many files in the .exe all you need is the .msp that is the core file...
  3. Once you get the .msp files you simply place them in your Updates folder and forget them. These are all in my updates folder dw20.msp excel.msp mso.msp msxml5.msp oartconv.msp outlfltr.msp outlook.msp publisher.msp wordconv.msp xlconv.msp And they all run and install fine.
  4. OK The reason they are not applied is you actually need the .msp file from inside the .exe... To do this you use uniextract found on this forum or browse to %userprofile%\Local Settings\Temp and as you run each one grab the .msp file from the created folder.
  5. nLite is DEFINITELY not for commercial usage.
  6. We have around 900 boxes in the field that we need to upgrade to windows 2003. All boxes are windows 2000. I need to have this in a fashion that our clients do not have to make many selections. Also none of these boxes have a floppy drive. nLite is NOT for business or commercial use... Read the EULA contained in the nLite installation Dir. You need to try hfslip or one of the other alternatives.
  7. Did you modify any files and what language are you using?
  8. Its here...
  9. We are not in the habit of emailing solutions, sorry you'll hafta stick around in the forum. Also is this XP MCE or XP PRO, Win FLP??
  10. Ummmm can pretty please post your command? Maybe you are just missing a " or something tiny like that.
  11. I just realised this needs to be in the nlite addons subforum....
  12. I am very willing to bet that since you removed both: Windows Media Player Windows Media Player 6.4 That it wont work it most likely assumes or needs some remnants of WMP to work. My ony suggestion would be to build it again and keep 6.4 or try WMP classic or VLP.
  13. You already have your answer in this thread if you would look at the links provided. I personally won't help you anymore.
  14. Why the hell would we help you with malicious code???
  15. Yes it is the MOBO HAS to support x64...
  16. NOPE!
  17. Its not a bug it is simply the way life works. There is an app that will hide all cmd and bat windows after it is called BUT that would leave you open to some types of malicious code and attacks so I won't recommend it.
  18. Moving to the nLite forum....
  19. The setup for WinFLP is almost exactly the same as Vista so the only way it would be supported is through vlite. I really REALLY doubt it will ever be supported as it would just be too much of a pain in the a** for an OS that is almost impossible to get ahold of and that almost no-one uses... P.S. Did a quick search for Win FLP http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...7&hl=winflp like the 5th one down.... Has your answer.
  20. Install Winrar! Select all of the office files including your .mst answer file then right click and choose add to archive.... Select your compression level and to create an sfx archive. Then push ok. After the archive is complete right click on it and choose open with winrar and on the toolbar select comment and add that code in there (Make sure your mst file name matches what it says there.) Push ok. Done.
  21. That is very nice but won't be very simple for "true" addons and addons with files that replace\overwrite original files. It is always a lot easier just to start with a clean source.
  22. Well why didn't you just say so??? It shouldn't cause any issues but it might waste like 20megs in space.
  23. P.S. There is NO WAY to restore IE core components...
