  1. Yes thanks, apparently I removed Wlan by mistake. Now it works.
  2. Hi all, guys do you know what services and components are needed for a Wifi card to properly work under Vista?
  3. ah wth i still get the error. The patch doesn't work with SP2, tried installing the infs manually but it doesn't seem to work either
  4. Nope, it isn't there. I must have removed the component by mistake cause I never do. Thanks for telling me the file, gonna grab it from the CD if possible. Wanted to try Server 2008 but I see vLite is not fully compatible yet, any idea when a compatible version will be out? (just so to know so maybe I wait for it if it's not long thanks)
  5. Hi, so I was trying to make a vLited Vista x64, but when I get the usual Dependencies window at the first start, the File System File Manager won't install and tells me to: "Download and Install Update Rollup 1 for Windows 2000 and restart your computer and vLite" http://i28.tinypic.com/ape6j5.jpg <-- Screen shot. Uh OK... too bad I'm running Windows XP x64 eheh and the File System Filter should already be installed. So, basically that prevents me from using vLite. WIM filter is greyed out. Any way to circumvent that error?
  6. Ah yes i know that xCHM, it opens help files fine^^. But it wasn't only a problem of chm viewing. Too many programs use IE Core and without it there's always something not working properly. Which p***es me off, although i could use other programs. I made another ISO with the exact same configuration BUT with Internet Explorer Core NOT removed this time, kept it. All works fine. Thus the missing IE Core was the reason. Thanks for the help
  7. No way? ****! I rushed this iso and didn't notice Alright then, I'll make a new iso. Thanks for the info. @Agi Hammerklau: it's called "Internet Explorer Core" i think. Anyways thanks everybody, I'll be faster with a format. See you.
  8. But that conf is alright, i only removed by mistake IE Core. And i'd like to know how i could restore it. Those are some hotfixes up until now, the number is for the order.
  9. In that case wouldn't the chm file not open at all because hh.exe wouldn't be present? (hh.exe is present) I did remove Help and Support but that should only be the docs if i remember correctly. Anyway thanks for the reply attached my last session. LAST_SESSION.INI
  10. Hi guys and congrats again for nLite! Today i tried to view a *.chm file (help file) and while it does open, there's nothing visible. The result is this: After a quick "investigation" i noticed i removed by mistake Internet Explorer Core when i made my last Lite XP. I believe this is the reason why chm aren't visible and also why other software act strange. Am i right? Is there a way to re-install Internet Explorer Core? Thanks in advance.
  11. Hi all, since my current setup has ACPI on and i', having some troubles with my usb ports, i want to disable it from the installation (in bios too obviously), i usually select automatic, but not this time: so right now im watching the unattented setup page of nlite and i dont know the meaning of the listed types, can you help chose the right one for me please? and anyway im curious about the meaning and differences between them becoz i never understood 'em properly. They are: - ACPI Uniprocessor PC - Advanced Configuration and Power Interface PC (i guess not single cpu) - MPS Uniprocessor PC - Standard PC - Standard PC with C-Step i once used standard and it seemed to work fine, but i really dont know what are the others, anyone knows? another thing...but is there a way to set IRQ in windows?? because i always found the option grayed
  12. ahhhh sorry for this useless post then. In fact i was using a jpg...eheh no problem i've inrfanview ready to convert it to bitmap. Thanks nuhi for this info i didnt notice ..oops, bye
  13. Hello all, im here just to report a bug: if i remove Image and Fax Viewer from my Windows XP x64 (english) the desktop background doesnt work anymore; NOT ONLY the preview as it's written in nLite, but i cant have a background image on the desktop, it doesnt work at all. I can chose an image, apply it & click on ok, but the image isnt shown in the background. I tried also with XP 32bit and there it works fine, no preview of course, but the background works. So i guess it's a x64 version problem. I cant post the ini coz i've erased it..oops. Bye and thanks again for this proggy :
