  1. YOU DO SP3 FIRST!!! Always do the service packs first and always start with a clean source... Then go in and remove the usual folders. ( http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/57/ ) Then go ahead and add the addons, wmp11 and 1e7.
  2. Please edit your post and either just use thumbnails or just links! We do have alot of members on dial-up. Also from some of your screenies you are using a heavily modified version of Vista (Possibly warezed?) use a full version and then tell us what your results are.
  3. Read the WPI help page or the main post no need to get nLite to run WPI all you have to do is extract a file..
  4. ummmm its in one of the files let me go through them again... Line 82 of installer.js window.moveTo(25,25); first # is ----> That way. Second # is Down V
  5. Before doing a virus scan you should clean out all of your old and junk files first: Goto add\remove programs & de-install everything you don't use, don't like or don't even recognize (Carefull with the last one, DO NOT remove drivers and such. Use Google to search out the progs names) Use an app like CCLEANER to clean your system and junk files also goto tools in your ccleaner menu and select startup and delete the things you absolutly cannot identify or don't want running at startup any longer. Then run a checkdisk (Will require a reboot) and defrag your system. THEN run a full AV scan. Let it run all by itself 50 minutes is a little long but not too suprising for a 4 year old system.
  6. shell32.dll and msgina.dll
  7. It runs the files (Installers) from their location so in that eccense you have to keep the dvd in BUT, if you are using CDswitch and calling apps that are on a second dvd then it would be fine as WPI builds its list and then runs the installers.
  8. Yeah I can only find those in PCI-e flavors. You need to know PCI and PCI-Express are 2 VERY different things.
  9. Just check this little box here and it will hide all of the options that will mess up your activation!
  10. 100's of CD keys were invalidated in XP SP1 and SP2 you most likely have one of those keys. You can call MS and explain to them (If your key is legal) that is has been blacklisted and they might issue you a new one. Or did you remove OOBE? (Will cause activation issues in non VLK versions of XP)
  11. Yeah but the MD5 matches the 3311 and the update.inf says 3311 so MS just updated the article.
  12. Nope it is still 3311
  13. Easy fix can do in a minute.
  14. Yup sounds like you want WPI
  15. ok I will run a coupla tests tonight.
  16. It has to be a language conflict or a conflict with NR's IE7 addon. I will ask over there if anyone using it uses WPI. Also might I suggest downloading IE7 in your native lang and integrate it using nLite? Then giving it a try.
  17. You're not even gonna get an answer as this is a violation of Rule #1.
  18. Naw sorry it will be out this year Most likely middle of the next month (I hope)
  19. Yannow it is one of the ones that uses a completly remove-able cable. Maybe I will borrow another cable and see if thats it. YAY I had a old 13" still in the closet. :X
  20. KK it runs fine so far. I need your theme now and also did you use an english IE7 installer or arabic? (Might be a file conflict if you did) Shouldn't be too hard a fix.
  21. OK ummm thats a lot of errors you shouldnt be getting AT ALL. OK Q % A time. How did you install IE7 and WMP11 or did you integrate them? Did you modify any of the WPI files besides the config.js and useroptions.js (Also Please attach those 2 files in your next post) Will you run WPI from a fresh download and tell me the result without adding any files? What Laguage are you on? What method of starting WPI are you using? I have tested WPI with all of the previous builds of sp3 and WMP11 and IE7 and havent found an issue yet. Thanks for all of the pictures (pretty good first post) and welcome to MSFN!
