  1. We cannot and WILL not help you with warez!
  2. OMG not this argument AGAIN... Simply because it is against MS eula and nuhi would be liable for millions of dollars in damage if anyone messes up a large comapanies income\pc's with it...
  3. SP3 IMO...
  4. It is as far as I know only wasted space on the cd. Interesting idea though and since I have cable net and a little bit of time right now I will download sp1a and sp2 and sp3 and do some iso size comparisons. OK here are the findings: XP Gold iso size = 492 megs XP SP1a iso size = 507 megs XP SP2 iso size = 582 megs XP SP1a + SP2 iso size = 594 megs XP SP1a + SP2 + SP3 iso size = 624 megs XP SP3 iso size = 593 megs Total wasted space with all 3 packs? = 31 megs Total size gain from XP gold to SP3 = 101 megs

  6. COMMANDLINE1 = "%wpipath%\install\NIS2007\SymSetup.exe" /qn /count:3 /noreboot /async:0 /msnscan:3 REGAFTER = %wpipath%\install\NIS2007\Norton.reg Place the reg file in the same dir as the norton setup file. Remember you must go into regedit and get the proper key# which is located at: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\CCPD-LC\KStore0000082000004900000bb]
  7. You CAN use and app that has replace all option and open config.js with it and replace all. When you change ALL of the apps category entries it will not show up anymore. WPI reads the config.js and gets all the categories as it runs everytime.
  8. By going into the config wizard and select each one seperatly and changing the categories name...
  9. %wpipath%\install\SymSetup.exe /qn /count:3 /noreboot /async:0 /msnscan:3 %wpipath%\install\Norton.reg Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\CCPD-LC\KStore0000082000004900000bb] "Key"="xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" Now about the wpi files I think it is implied that pretty much all of the files are needed.... There are some that are delete-able BUT do you really need to save .5megs???
  10. Because of left over files.... If you have sp1 and sp2 integrated the you will have aproximatly 30-40 megs of extra files in there (or more I am JUST counting the sp*.cab drivers files)
  11. It has been said that there are a very few apps out there that need .net 1.1 (Haven't run into one yet) YES apparently all 3 version in the 3.5 pack are needed as some of the apps are compiled differently between versions. Here is a pic of the resulting 3.5 installation.
  12. OOoooOOOOooOOO Yeah pretty good.
  13. kk had you searched a bit you would have found that WPI currently has a bug with regfiles. You need to remove the quotes that are in the commandline. ie this: "%wpipath%\Install\regTweaks\winamp.reg" becomes this: %wpipath%\Install\regTweaks\winamp.reg No need for a switch as WPI does that bit for you.
  14. .net 3.5 contains the following: 3.5 3.0 2.0 and all of the updates for the above. The only one it doesnt have in it is 1.1 and the updates for that.
  15. http://www.msfn.org/board/WinntbbuED-t50166.html <-- This little app will answer all of your questions.
  16. LOL was pretty buggy.. Looks like they are adding some nice features though.
  17. WPI doesn't "Read" reg files it just calls them via regedit /s. But yeah both work fine.

  19. I just used an online converter and it showed as 1600 USD which is well worth it in my opinion.
  20. Oh so its about 1900 USD? It still seems pretty high. I just looked up the CPU man that thing is pretty much a beast! @ 300 alone for it too. I may have jumped the gun. After reading some of the reviews for it it does seem like it's worth the price.
  21. YEEEE OUCH!!!! Not in my opinion....
  22. NEATO!!! I am glad you figured it out and posted the answer!
