ZileXa thats not necessarily true, I have done that as well, and it has not worked for me. That has been my question for a while now on a couple of these post. Which is how do you get them to work for any new user who log in. I can get it to work for the original user, but not for any new ones. I am talking about what I thought was a simple regtweak, to have the homepage set to what i want, the classic search, limit the history days, and so fourth. Does anyone know the regtweak to get rid of or disable the Fade option in the Start menu for XP? On another topic, how if possible can I get to bypass the enter intial and name when Office word or excel starts for the first time? I have a ua DVD which works great but just a few things I want to sharpen up. Any help will do. FYI, on the initial log in it does not propmt me but when a new user logs in then it does. Just wanted to share with you guys, that I was able to get both OS and Office Multilanguage installed by using Microsoft Office 2k3 Resource Kit's Custom Installation Wizard. Worked flawlessly with my ua dvd.

I am in the process of redoing my office .mst and will look to see where I can do this from. I was wondering can i install the mui after office has installed so in my RunonceEx.cmd maybe i can add a second line like this? Hi Refuse_ I was unable to get this to work can you lend a hand? I am sure I did something wrong. I get an error telling me an instance is already running. So should I use Custom Installation Wizard and create a new .MST for mui? This didn't work for me either. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Ok Here's one for you guys, I have a security template that is used at work. How do I incorparate that with my UA DVD? How and where do I place it to get it to install. Do I use RunOnceEX.cmd, or winnt.sif. I appreciate the help. Thanks

I have completed an UA DVD all good, works nicely and thanks to those that have helped me. Now I am being asked to also install Multilanguage package for off2k3 and OS XP (Japanese). I have the cd's for the multilanguage package, how do I go about getting this installed. Mind you I dont need to set it up as Japanese I just need to install the packages. Hi All, I am hoping you guys can help me out or at least point me in the right direction. I have completed an unattended installation DVD and it works great except for two things. Let me try and explain. Once the build is completed XP sp1, applications and Reg Tweaks are installed, all works flawlessly when I log in as the local user. The only issue I am having is that two of the reg tweaks i put in do not work when I log in as someone else or log in to the domain. The tweaks are simple but I dont understand why they dont carry on to all users who log on. Yes XP SP2, ------------------------------------------------------------- I got the AR703.exe file from one of the post above. ------------------------------------------------------------- Is there any reason to read installers twice? I mean: 1. Read from DVD 2. write to HDD 3. then again read from HDD and extract to the same HDD's temp folder 4. and only then install from temp folder? But for some reason that AR703.exe doesn't work it shows it starting to extract and install then it abruptly stops. Can you post yours so I can download or pm me where I can get it from. Thanks Vid0, Did that "%CDROM%\VALUEADD\AR703.exe" /f work for you. I mean not so much the syntax but the AR703.exe? I tried about three different onces posted here and they did not work. If you have a working AR703.exe where did you get it from? Another question I am putting all this stuff on DVD then it copies to HDD do you guys think its not a good idea to do that? Let me know.
