maniaq i did try yours as well and what happened is, it only installs on the local user which logs in. When I join the domain i have to reinstall. any ideas on this??? Thanks, Express

I just finished another test unattended install with the AR703.exe and AR703a.exe and niether worked.... Are these just updates?

Wow I read this entire post from when it was started back in March I think, you guys have done a wonderfull job outting all this together. Congrats to all your efforts. I gotta say I liked the original one dexter did it was small and installed quickly and I really didnt see a problem, only that it only installed on for the local user. I will try the reader703.exe and see how that works. I don't mind the size since i am placing it on a DVD. What I do want to know is how to incoperate it into the RunInceEx.cmd file. I have been looking in the forums but I can't find a section for adding into my Tweaks.reg file to have the classic seach for xp instead of the the one it comes with. Quick question, I just want to make sure I got this unattended thing sort of right. The way it works is that once the os is installed then once the pc reboots and you log on for the first time is when all the applications and programs install? If so then how is this unattended when you still need to log on for the first time? Thanks, Express B)

Nope same results. This is whats happening as XP is installing at some point Office2k3 starts to install. As I am watching the install I see the cmd prompt open with D:\$OEM$\...... which starts the install, it finishes the rest of the auto xp finshes. Once rebooting I get an error stating c:\install\off2k3.cmd not found. I look at Start>Program Files> and no Office installed. I check the c:\ and I see the files for the install in C:\Install\Application\Office2003..... I played around with it and I got it to work but not the way I think it should work. It still seems to run the Office2k3 install as XP is installing, but once the pc reboots then it starts installing Office2k3 again but this time it is installed. I copied the Off2k3.cmd to C:\Install so when the pc reboots it starts after logging in. I would rather have it installed already before logging in. Let me know if what I am looking for is realastic. Here is what I have, let me know what am I doing incorrect. This is the context of my c:\XPCD\ This is the off2k3.cmd file which is in the c:\xpcd\$OEM$\ directory (which I also copied to the c:\xpcd\$OEM$\$1\install directory which works upon rebooting). As I mentioned before all installed correctly, and seems to install Office2003 it runs through the process, but once pc is rebooted the only thing in are the install files. I can't get this thing right. I have burned about 5 dvds, I also tried the VM which I do have. I have created the XPSP2 not a problem, I added Office2003 followed all the instructions. But once OS is installed and pc reboots no sign of Office2003 installed. It does install the files in c:\install\application...... I do notice when XP is installing it says its installing Office2003 in D:\ instead of c:\. Can someone tell me what have i done wrong? I would appreciate any help. Thanks,
